In Ayurveda, managing diabetes involves balancing blood sugar, digestion, and the underlying doshas. Hello Thillini, Are you experiencing symptoms like frequent urination, excessive thirst, fatigue, or weight loss? What does your typical daily diet consist of? Do you exercise regularly, and if so, what type and how often? How is your sleep quality, and do you often feel stressed? Do you have a family history of diabetes or other metabolic disorders?: Your diabetes may be poorly controlled due to a possible Kapha imbalance, insulin resistance, stress, or dietary factors. Management: Eat a Kapha-pacifying diet with whole grains, bitter vegetables, fiber, and low glycemic index foods. Avoid refined sugar, excess carbs, fried foods, and processed snacks. Exercise daily with brisk walking, yoga, or swimming for 45 minutes. Practice Anulom Vilom and Bhramari Pranayama to reduce stress. Ensure 7-8 hours of proper sleep. Try herbs like Guduchi, Bitter Gourd, Jamun seed powder, or Fenugreek under Ayurvedic guidance. Stay hydrated with warm water and herbal teas like fenugreek or coriander tea. Monitor blood sugar levels and HbA1c regularly.
