In Ayurveda, kidney and bladder stones are often associated with an imbalance in the Vata and Kapha doshas, leading to the accumulation of toxins (ama) and improper functioning of the urinary system. To support kidney and bladder health, you can try herbs like Gokshura and Punarnava, which help to break down stones, reduce inflammation, and promote urination. Drinking warm water with a pinch of turmeric and cumin seeds can help soothe the urinary tract and reduce burning sensations. A diet that avoids spicy, acidic, or heavy foods and includes cooling, hydrating foods like cucumbers and coconut water can help ease the discomfort. Additionally, regular intake of barley water and proper hydration helps flush out toxins. It’s also important to practice stress reduction techniques like yoga and meditation to help balance the body's energy. However, it is advisable to consult an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner to create a personalized treatment plan based on your condition.
