Paripathadi Kadha might indeed be a remedy that’s helping to balace the excess heat and sweating you’ve been experiencing, especially if it’s Pitta related. In Ayurveda, sweating and a sensation of heat may point to a Pitta dosha imbalance, which this formulation aims to address by its cooling properties. However, during pregnancy, it’s crucial to tread cautiously.

Pregnancy is a unique and delicate period with dynamic physiological changes, and what’s ideal in general may need modification. Generally, traditional Ayurvedic formulations like Paripathadi Kadha are supposed to balance excessive heat, but it requires careful consideration during pregnancy because some herbs, particularly bitter or cooling ones, may impact digestion or have other effects that aren’t ideal at this time.

If you’re considering continuing or starting this Kadha while pregnant, the best course is to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner who’s familiar with your complete medical history and current health condition. They can offer a personalized suggestion more suited to your needs. Avoiding self-medicating is key, particularly during such sensitive times.

Meanwhile, some general practices to naturally manage heat include having a cooling diet, favoring foods like cucumber, watermelon, coconut water, and those that are light and moisture-rich. Try staying hydrated and avoiding too much spicy or heavy foods which can aggravate Pitta, even a cooled diet will support maintaining harmony.

If you’re used to a sip in the morning and it serves as a psychological comfort, ensure it’s guided within a structured plan by a professional. Sometimes alternatives or safer modifications (based on your elements) work well. Always prioritize both your and baby’s well-being above all, as sometimes even minimal amounts can be significant during pregnancy’s sensitive stages.
