Drinks CCF tea. 3. May have leaky gut syndrome and poor assimilation and wants to reduce any gut inflammation 4. Has spring allergy - Sneezing bout for 10 mins with lots of clear mucus in morning after drinking warm lime water. BF- Steamed fruit with ghee, cardamom/ cinnamon. Or gluten free toast with nutbutter Lunch-Kichari, dhal, rice, vegetables , ghee Dinner- Soft corn veggie tacos, soups, kitchari I would like to suggest the following : 1. Haritaki churnam 1/2 tsp with warm water after dinner / soaked raisins in the morning to help with constipation 2. Kushmandu rasayana or Narasimha Rasayan for weight gain, possible allergies 3. Dear Madam, Thank you for your detailed history and for clearly describing your symptoms. Based on your presentation — alternating constipation, post-lunch gas with odor, gradual weight loss, and seasonal morning allergies — your condition appears consistent with a Vata imbalance in the colon along with mild digestive weakness (Agnimandya) and some intestinal irritation. This is manageable with steady dietary regulation and gentle herbal support. Please follow the recommendations below consistently for the next 4 weeks. Morning Routine Soak 8–10 black raisins overnight. Consume the raisins along with the soaking water in the morning. Replace lime water with plain warm water. If desired, add a small pinch of dry ginger powder. Lime may be contributing to morning sneezing and mucus production. Before Lunch (Main Meal) Take 1–2 thin slices of fresh ginger with a small pinch of rock salt approximately 10 minutes before lunch. This will stimulate digestion and help reduce gas formation. Lunch Guidelines Continue warm, freshly prepared meals. Adjustments: Reduce the quantity of dal/legumes slightly. Increase well-cooked vegetables. Add 1 teaspoon of ghee to your meal (or sesame oil if dairy-free). With the first bite of lunch: Hingwastak Churna – ¼ teaspoon. After lunch: Kushmanda Rasayana – 1 teaspoon. Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) – 500 mg capsule once daily. These will support digestion, intestinal healing, and nutrient assimilation. Dinner Guidelines Dinner should be lighter than lunch. Prefer: Vegetable soups Thin mung soup Rice with soft cooked vegetables Avoid: Corn tortillas at night Heavy legumes Raw foods in the evening Please try to complete dinner before 7:00 PM. Bedtime Haritaki Churna – ¼ teaspoon with warm water nightly. If continuing magnesium supplementation, use a small daily dose rather than taking it every other day to maintain bowel regularity. Seasonal Allergy Support Discontinue lime water. Continue warm water with a pinch of ginger. Guduchi will also help regulate immune sensitivity over time. Lifestyle Recommendations Gentle sesame oil self-massage 2–3 times per week. 15–20 minutes of relaxed walking daily. Maintain regular meal timings. Avoid snacking between meals. Keep a 4–5 hour gap between meals. Follow-Up Please review your symptoms after 4 weeks, particularly: Bowel regularity Gas and bloating Weight stability Allergy symptoms Given the history of gradual weight loss, I recommend routine medical screening (if not already done) to rule out underlying metabolic or gastrointestinal causes. Integrative monitoring is important at this stage. Please follow this plan with consistency and patience. Gentle correction will bring more lasting results than aggressive intervention. Warm regards, Dr. Sumit Doraya, I

—You’re doing many good things already. Right now, we want to gently improve digestion before adding too many tonics. —For constipation, take ¼ tsp Haritaki at night daily instead of rotating magnesium. Keep the soaked raisins in the morning. —For the smelly gas, reduce the rice portion at lunch and add more vegetables. Take a small pinch of Hingwastak before lunch. —Stop the lime water for now and just drink plain warm water in the morning — it may be triggering your sneezing. Let’s improve digestion first before starting heavier rasayanas for weight gain.

Hello, You are already doing great job. Following is my opinion on your choices: 1. Think of choosing triphala churnam over haritaki churnam as it has added benefits (Dosage-one teaspoon at bed time with a cup of boiled warm water) 2. As you are mentioning spring allergy-kushmanda rasayana is good choice for weight gain, but please also consider chyavanaprasham/agastya rasayanam(Dosage-One teaspoon in the morning 45 minures after breakfast) 3. Though you are suspecting leaky gut, please reconsider prescribing vilwadi lehyam as it may worsen laready existing constipation at this stage. Instead, think of starting VAYU GUILIKA (Dosage-2 tablets with cumin tea after each meal) 4. Hinwashtaka churna is really good choice; but if you are starting with Vayu gulika, you can wait for the use of hingwashtaka churnam. 5. Buttermilk is again good choice; think of processing butter milk with cumin and fresh ginger. All the best. Wish you the success.

Hello, Adding to it: 1. Soak the dals overnight and wash them 3 to 4 times before cooking 2. Corn may cause smelly gas; so just check if that is part of the problem by avoiding the corn for sometime. 3. Let her sip at least 1.5 liters of boiled warm water throughout the day. Take care, Kind regards.

Stepwise Recommendations 1. Constipation - Haritaki Churna: ½ tsp with warm water after dinner, especially on days with sluggish bowels. - Soaked Raisins: 5–7 raisins soaked overnight, taken in the morning, help regulate bowel movements gently. - Triphala (low dose): ¼–½ tsp at bedtime with warm water, if constipation persists. 2. Gut Health & Assimilation - Vilwadi Lehyam: ½ tsp after meals, supports gut lining and reduces inflammation. - Hingwastak Churna: ¼ tsp before meals with warm water, helps with smelly gas and bloating. - CCF Tea: Continue, but reduce quantity if bloating worsens. 3. Weight Maintenance & Rasayana - Kushmanda Rasayana: 1 tsp daily with warm water or milk substitute (since dairy is avoided). - Narasimha Rasayana: Alternative if weakness or allergies persist, 1 tsp daily. - Include healthy fats: ghee (if tolerated), sesame oil, avocado, soaked nuts. 4. Allergies - Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia): 250–500 mg capsule twice daily with warm water, reduces allergic response. - Neem decoction rinse: For seasonal cleansing, 1 cup weekly. - Avoid lime water in the morning if it triggers sneezing; replace with warm ginger water. 5. Diet Adjustments - Breakfast: Steamed fruit with ghee is excellent; avoid raw fruit. - Lunch/Dinner: Continue kichari and soups, but add carminative spices (cumin, fennel, ajwain). - Buttermilk substitute: Since dairy is avoided, try thin rice gruel with cumin and coriander as a probiotic-like option.

Refined & gentle suggestions ✓Constipation & regular BM Haritaki churna – ½ tsp (2–3 g) at bedtime with warm water (start with ¼ tsp for 3–5 days) Soaked raisins – 6–8 raisins soaked overnight → eat in morning with water (gentlest natural laxative) Magnesium – continue every 2 days (good choice – keep current dose) ✓Smelly gas & bloating after lunch Hingwashtak Churna – ¼–½ tsp after lunch with warm water (reduces gas & improves post-meal digestion) Buttermilk (takra) – ½–1 cup room-temp diluted buttermilk + roasted cumin powder after lunch (best digestive, reduces gas without dairy aggravation) ✓Gut inflammation & leaky gut support Bilvadi Lehyam (instead of Vilwadi) – ½–1 tsp after lunch & dinner Continue warm cooked meals + ghee (1–2 tsp/day) ✓Allergies & spring sneezing Haridrakhand – 3–5 gm at night with warm water Weight gain & energy Narasimha Rasayan or Kushmanda Rasayan – 1 tsp morning with warm water/milk alternative + ½ tsp ghee ✓Daily routine tweaks Vajrasana 10 min after every meal Warm water sip all day (2–2.5 L) – add lemon if tolerated Dinner before 7 pm, no late snacks 10 min Anulom-Vilom pranayama morning (reduces stress & gut Vata) Start slowly (add one new item every 3–5 days) Day 1–5: Haritaki ¼ tsp night + soaked raisins morning Day 6+: Add Hingwashtak after lunch + buttermilk Day 10+: Add Bilvadi Lehyam after meals + Haridrakhand night Day 14+: Add Narasimha/Kushmanda Rasayan morning Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma
