Namaste, Mitti ya chalk (seleti pencil) khane ki craving ko pica kehte hain, aur ye usually iron deficiency (khoon ki kami) ya nutritional deficiency ka sign hota hai. Simple understanding: Jab body mein iron ya minerals ki kami hoti hai, to aise unusual cravings develop ho sakte hain. Aapka poor appetite + long duration craving bhi isi taraf indicate karta hai. Simple measures that may help: Sabse pehle blood test (Hb, iron levels) karwana important hai. Diet mein include karein green leafy vegetables, beetroot, dates, jaggery (gud), black raisins. Vitamin C (lemon, amla) ke saath iron lena absorption improve karta hai. Avoid karein junk food aur empty stomach rehna. Regular meal timing maintain karein. Jaise-jaise deficiency improve hogi, craving bhi gradually kam ho jaati hai. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing: Lohasava – 15–20 ml with equal water, after lunch and dinner Punarnavadi Mandur – 1 tablet, twice daily after meals Ye medicines traditionally iron levels aur energy improve karne mein help karte hain.
