●Rock salt - 25 grams • Roasted celery - 60 grams • Dry ginger powder - 60 grams • Big myrobalan - 150 grams This combination has been traditionally used for gas, indigestion, constipation, and gas-related disorders.Method of Preparation Dry all the above ingredients thoroughly and grind them into a fine powder in a clean grinder. Store the powder in a dry, glass bottle. ●How to consume • In summer, take half to one teaspoon with buttermilk • In winter, take with lukewarm water • Before or after meals It is considered more appropriate to take it half or three-quarters of an hour ●• Take 1 teaspoon of cumin, 1/2 teaspoon of ginger, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. • Make a decoction and drink it 1-2 times a day. The cuminaldehyde in cumin stimulates gastric enzymes, making food easier to digest.

Namaste, After gallbladder removal, digestion often becomes sensitive, especially for fats, which can lead to long-term diarrhea, gas, and bloating. In elderly patients, digestion becomes even weaker, so symptoms can persist. Simple understanding: Without gallbladder, bile flow is continuous but less concentrated, so fat digestion becomes difficult. This can cause gas, bloating, loose stools earlier, and now disturbed digestion. Simple measures that may help: Avoid oily, fried, and heavy foods, as they are difficult to digest. Since dairy triggers symptoms, reduce or avoid milk and milk products for now. Take small, frequent meals instead of large meals. Include light foods like rice, moong dal, vegetable soups, soft khichdi. After meals, do light walking (5–10 minutes) to aid digestion. Avoid late-night eating, as it worsens gas and sleep disturbance. Use simple home support like jeera, ajwain, saunf water. Because sleep is getting disturbed, digestion needs to be stabilized gently and consistently. Ayurvedic medicines that may support digestion include: Hinguvachadi Gulika – traditionally used to reduce gas and improve digestion. Dhanwantharam Gulika – sometimes used to support digestion and reduce bloating. Start with low doses and observe tolerance due to age. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.

It sounds like you are navigating the common post-cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) challenge where Pitta (bile) flows continuously into the digestive tract rather than being stored and released when needed. From an Ayurvedic perspective, without the “reservoir” of the gallbladder, the hot and sharp qualities of Pitta can easily aggravate the gut. The following are traditional Ayurvedic approaches for managing this “dripping” Pitta: Kamdudha Ras: Often used as a traditional “coolant” to support the neutralization of excess heat and acidity in the digestive tract. Shankh Vati: Typically used in traditional practices to support digestion (Agni) and reduce the discomfort that occurs when bile isn’t properly regulated. Why the Lifestyle Tips Matter: Limiting Heavy Foods/Dairy: Without a gallbladder, the body may struggle to emulsify large amounts of fats, leading to potential digestive discomfort. Early Dinner (Before 7 PM): Digestion slows down at night. Eating late when Pitta is naturally high can lead to potential morning acidity or “ama” (toxin) buildup, based on Ayurvedic principles. Check out Nirvaanayurved for more such cases on Instagram

Namaste, After gallbladder removal, digestion becomes sensitive, especially for fats, which can lead to long-term gas, bloating, and discomfort, particularly in elderly age. Simple understanding: Without gallbladder, fat digestion becomes weaker, leading to gas formation and bloating. Dairy intolerance in your case is also adding to the problem. Weak digestion at this age can also cause poor sleep due to abdominal discomfort. Simple measures that may help: Avoid oily, fried, heavy, and dairy foods. Take small, frequent meals instead of large meals. Eat light foods like rice, moong dal, khichdi, soups. Do 5–10 min light walking after meals. Avoid late-night eating. Use simple home remedies like jeera, ajwain, saunf water. Focus should be on gentle digestion support, not heavy medicines. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing: Hinguvachadi Gulika – 1 tablet, after lunch and dinner Dhanwantharam Gulika – 1 tablet, after breakfast and dinner Start with low dose and observe tolerance due to age. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.
