Hello, Your symptoms- chest heaviness, burning/inflammation in chest, difficulty swallowing, dizziness and bloating- especially when present for more than 6 months and severe, strongly indicate a chronic imbalance This condition Is primarily due to Amla pitta (hyperacdiity/ acid reflux) -excess Pitta dosha ( heat + acidity) rises upward -affects annavha srotas digestive tract ad chest region Associated vata imbalance -causes bloating, dizziness, difficulty swallowing -disturbs normal movement of digestion Likely correlation -chronic acid reflux -possible esophagitis/gastritis -functional dyspepsia Importat because you have -difficulty swallowing -chronic chest discomfort -severe symptoms You must get basic investigations along with Ayurveda -upper GI endoscopy -ECG to rule out cardiac cause -H.pylori test Treatment goals -reduce pitta (acid, heat) -normalize vata movement -heal digestive lining -improve digestion without increasing heat -reduce gas and bloating -calm mind- gut connection Internal medications 1) Avipatti churna= 1 tsp with warm water befor bedtime =best classical medicine for acid control , clears excess pita from stomach and intestine 2) Vaishwanara churna= 1/2 tsp before meals twice daily =improves digestion without overheating, reduces bloating and gas vata correction 3) Soothsekhar ras (with gold)= 1 tab twice daily after meals =excelent for chest burning + nausea + dizziness, balances both pitta and vata 4) Dashmoola haritaki lehya= 1 tsp at night =reduces vata in abdomen, relieves bloating and supports bowel movement 5) Jeerakarishtam= 15ml + equal water after meals =improves digestion gently, reduces heaviness and gas External treatment 1) Oil massage= dhanwantaram taila -daily =reduces vata-> improves dizziness, swallowing difficulty -relaxes chest tightness Yoga and pranayam -vajrasana= after meals= 5-10 min -marjariasana -pawanmuktasana Pranayam -Sheetali/sheetkari= cools pitta -Anulom Vilom= balances vata Avoid kapalbhati Diet -warm, soft, easy to digest foods -rice, moong dal, boiled vegetables -buttermilk with cumin -coconut water Avoid -tea, coffee -spicy, fried foods -sour foods pickle, curd at night -tomato, vinegar -late night eating -long fasting Home remedies 1) Cold milk therapy= 1 glass cold milk not refrigerated, room temp cool -empty stomach morning - immediate relief for acidity 2) Cumin + coriander water= boil 1 tsp each in water, drink warm 3) Ghee therapy= 1 tsp cow ghee daily - heals stomach lining Lifestyle changes -eat on time daily -do not lie down immediately after eating -sleep before 11 pm -reduce stress very important trigger Duration of treatment -Initial relief= 2-3 weeks -stable improvement= 6-8 weeks -full correction= 3 months Your condition is treatable but requires discipline. Namaste, Your symptoms — chest heaviness, difficulty in swallowing, dizziness, and bloating — indicate significant digestion disturbance with possible acid reflux and vata-pitta imbalance affecting the upper digestive tract. Since symptoms are severe and long-standing, proper evaluation is important along with supportive care. The focus should be on reducing acidity, relieving gas, and calming the system. Avoid spicy, sour, fried, and heavy foods. Do not eat large meals — take small, frequent meals. Avoid lying down immediately after eating and keep a gap of 2–3 hours before sleep. Reduce tea/coffee and avoid eating late at night. Prefer soft, warm, freshly cooked food and sip warm water. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing: Avipattikar Churna – 1 teaspoon at bedtime with warm water Kamadudha Ras (mild) – 1 tablet, twice daily after food Dadimashtaka Churna – 1 teaspoon, once daily with food These are traditionally used to reduce acidity, improve digestion, and relieve bloating when combined with proper routine. ⚠️ Important: Since you have difficulty swallowing and dizziness, it is important to rule out esophageal or cardiac causes if not already done. Please consult a physician for proper evaluation alongside treatment. With consistent care, symptoms can improve gradually over a few weeks. Consultation can help tailor this further to your needs.

1.Avipattikar churna 1/2 tsp twice daily with warm water after meals 2.Hingwashtak churna 1/2 tsp twice daily with warm water before meals 3.Kamdudha rasa 1 tab twice daily with honey or water after meals 4.Syp.Energy plus 2 tsp twice daily Diet Tips---- Eat warm, cooked meals → avoid cold, raw, or heavy foods that aggravate bloating and chest discomfort. Small, frequent meals → instead of large portions, eat 4–5 light meals to reduce pressure on digestion. Include soothing foods → rice gruel (kanji), moong dal soup, boiled vegetables, pumpkin, bottle gourd, ridge gourd. Use digestive spices gently → cumin, fennel, ajwain, coriander in cooking. Avoid triggers → fried, spicy, sour, carbonated drinks, late-night eating. Hydration → sip warm water throughout the day; avoid very cold drinks. Ghee → 1 tsp daily with warm rice or milk to soothe inflammation. Lifestyle Tips— Meal timing: Try to eat at regular times; irregular meals worsen bloating and heaviness. Posture after meals: Sit upright for at least 30 minutes; avoid lying down immediately. Gentle walking: 10–15 minutes after meals helps digestion and reduces bloating. Stress management: Practice slow breathing (Anulom Vilom, Bhramari) to reduce dizziness and chest tightness. Sleep routine: Early bedtime, avoid heavy meals at night. Oil massage (Abhyanga): Warm sesame oil massage on chest and abdomen weekly to calm Vata and reduce discomfort.

Ayurvedic Prescription 1. Swarna Sutshekhar Ras Dosage: 1 tablet twice daily. Time: 30 minutes before meals. 2. Yashtimadhu Phant (Licorice Cold Infusion) Preparation: Soak 1 teaspoon of Yashtimadhu powder in a glass of water overnight (or for a few hours). Strain and sip slowly throughout the day. 3. Avipattikar Churna Dosage: 1 teaspoon at bedtime. Time: With normal or slightly cool water. ✓Crucial Dietary Rule Until the clinical tests are clear and swallowing improves, the patient must be placed on a strictly liquid or semi-solid diet at room temperature. Solid, hot, or heavy foods can cause choking or further damage to the raw esophageal lining. Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma
