Hello I can understand the daily struggle of constipation that too since 12 years and its really long. That means your root cause is not yet targeted But dont worry we are here to help you out 😊 ▪️For your understanding On considering your case Constipation is mostly due to neurogenic cause That is nerve related constipation In simple terms the nerve signals coming from brains to intestine is reduced or irregular Because of this -stools are moving slowely -does not push the stool ▪️About Myrolax -long term use Considering other stimulant this is comparatively safe So you can take it But -It will only main your stools soft -it will not target the root cause -It will not correct the nerve related problem So it gives only symptomatic relief ▪️what you actually need is -Movement of stools -Lubricating the passage -Stimulating your nerves ▪️Ayurvedic Plan of treatment ➖Triphala churna 1 tsp with warm water at bed time ➖Abhyaristha 20 ml twice daily after food ➖Palsineuron 1 capsule twice daily after food ▪️Internal Oleation Take 1 tsp of ghee daily Either Take it with your food Or take it on empty stomach ▪️External Care Use warm coconut oil And do gentle massage on lower back, abdomen and groin region ▪️Panchakarma I will advise you to go for basti therapy. It will significantly help you Not only in regulating the bowel but also stimulate your nerves ▪️Diet plan -have ghee daily -have warm freshly cooked food -have soaked raisins and dates ➖Avoid Pomogranate Dry cold food items Raw salads ▪️Important Try to stimulate your bowel at regular times But dont force yourself Daily do Sitz bath with lukewarm water Your condition is managebale but panchakarma is most needed so please consult nearby ayurvedic physician Wishing you a good health 😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Myrolax is meant for strong constipation, and since you have used this for longer period, slow acting laxatives will not show quick results You can take Capsule Laxinol- H at bedtime with warm water. Soak black currant rasin black dates in a glass of warm water, morning make smoothie and drink Prunes taking 2-3/ day are good laxative and healthy choice. Constipation also indicates poor digestion so take Heposem syrup., will improve digestion. Do pranayam lom -vilom kapalbhatti bhastrika daily for 5-10mins twice Legs raises exercises daily for 5-10mins. Have cow’s ghee 2-4tsp daily in your diet. Include fresh green vegetables. Include seasonal fruits and seasonal vegetables in your diet. Recommended medication are attached along with dosage. Follow up after 21 days.

Namaste, Your condition — long-standing chronic constipation (12 years) not responding well to laxatives — indicates deep-rooted vata imbalance affecting bowel movement and colon function. The focus should be on restoring natural bowel movement, improving gut tone, and not becoming dependent on strong laxatives long term. Regarding your question: Regular long-term use of strong laxatives like Myrolax may give temporary relief, but it can make the bowel more dependent over time. So it is better to gradually shift towards a more natural regulation approach. Prefer warm, well-cooked food rather than excess raw fruits and vegetables, as too much raw fiber can sometimes worsen dryness and constipation. Include ghee (1–2 teaspoons daily), soaked raisins, and warm fluids. Drink warm water, especially in the morning. Maintain fixed meal and sleep timings. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing: Triphala Churna – 1 teaspoon at bedtime with warm water Gandharvahastadi Kashayam – 15 ml with equal water, once daily before food (morning) Castor oil (Eranda Taila) – 1 teaspoon with warm milk, 2–3 times a week at bedtime These are traditionally used to regulate bowel movement, lubricate the intestines, and reduce dependency on harsh laxatives when used properly. Additional support: Abdominal oil massage with warm sesame oil followed by mild heat can help improve bowel movement. Since your condition is long-standing, improvement is gradual and requires consistency. The goal is not just passing stool but restoring natural urge and ease. Consultation can help tailor this further to your needs.
