It contains hing (asafoetida), ginger, and black pepper to jumpstart your digestive enzymes. ​Dose: Take 1/2 to 1 teaspoon twice a day. ​How to take: Mix it with the first bite of your lunch and dinner with a little bit of warm Ghee, or take it with warm water 15 minutes after meals. ​2. Chitrakadi Vati ​If you feel like your food just “sits there” for hours (slow motility), these tablets help increase stomach acid and bile flow. ​Dose: 1 to 2 tablets twice a day. ​How to take: Chew or swallow with warm water about 30 minutes before your meals. ​3. Kumaryasava (Liquid) ​This is a fermented Aloe Vera tonic that is excellent for “kharab washroom” (irregular or sticky stools) and liver health.
