नमस्ते! आयुर्वेद के नज़रिए से देखें तो नाभि पित्त और वात, खास तौर पर समान और अपान वायु का बहुत महत्वपूर्ण केंद्र है। हमारे शरीर में पाचन से जुड़ी सारी क्रियाएं इन्हीं दोनों वायु से नियंत्रित होती हैं। नाभि में तेल लगाने (नाभि तैल) से ये दोष संतुलित रहते हैं। इसके फायदों की बात करें तो इससे बहुत आराम मिलता है, तनाव कम होता है और पाचन की दिक्कतों के अलावा पेट, प्रजनन और यूरिन से जुड़ी परेशानियों, जैसे दर्द या असहजता में बहुत राहत मिलती है। अगर हम आधुनिक विज्ञान की बात करें, तो नाभि और उसके आस-पास का हिस्सा बहुत सेंसिटिव होता है क्योंकि वहाँ नर्व एंडिंग्स का बहुत घना जाल होता है, इसीलिए तेल लगाने से हमें बहुत सुकून और रिलैक्स महसूस होता है। आप अपनी ज़रूरत के हिसाब से तेल चुन सकते हैं, लेकिन जो तेल मैंने पहले बताया, वह आम तौर पर सेहत और स्ट्रेस दूर करने के लिए सबसे बढ़िया है। आप इसे सिर पर भी लगा सकते हैं, उससे भी वैसा ही आराम मिलता है। इसे इस्तेमाल करने का तरीका बहुत आसान है: सबसे पहले नाभि वाली जगह को साफ कर लें। फिर गुनगुने तेल से 5 से 10 मिनट तक पेट की हल्की मालिश करें और उसके बाद 3-5 मिली गुनगुना तेल नाभि में डाल दें। अगर आप चाहें, तो पेट को गर्म रखने के लिए सूती कपड़े से बनी गर्म सिकाई भी ले सकते हैं। इसे 20-30 मिनट तक रहने दें और उस दौरान आराम करें। उसके बाद तेल को पोंछ लें। सबसे अच्छा ये होता है कि इसे आप खाली पेट करें।
