Lichen Planus is often linked to an overactive immune system, and in Ayurveda, it is viewed as a Kustha Roga involving an imbalance of Pitta and Vata that affects the skin. It is quite common to feel weakness after long-term conventional treatments, as some medications can impact your “Agni” (digestive fire) and “Ojas” (vitality). Yes, Lichen Planus can flare up again if the body remains in a weak or stressed state. The goal is to purify the blood while rebuilding your strength so the body can maintain its own balance. I added medications take them consistently and you will see results slowly because ayurveda works on root cause so it takes time . The Dos✅ • Nourish the Gut: Since your appetite is decreased, eat “Mung Dal Khichdi” with a little ghee. This is easy to digest and helps rebuild your strength. • Bitter Vegetables: Include bitter gourd (Karela) and leafy greens in your diet. Bitter taste (Tikta Rasa) is excellent for drying up Lichen Planus lesions. • Stress Management: Since stress is a major trigger for flare-ups, practice 10 minutes of Sheetali Pranayama (Cooling Breath). It cools the internal “Pitta” heat. • Tepid Water Baths: Use lukewarm water for bathing. Extreme hot or cold water can shock the skin and trigger a flare-up. The Don’ts❌ • Avoid “Viruddha Ahara”: Strictly avoid fish with milk, or sour fruits with milk. These create “Amavisha” (internal toxins) which are a primary cause of skin disease recurrence. • Limit Salt and Spice: Excessive salt and red chili can worsen the itching and inflammation of Lichen Planus. • Avoid Sour/Fermented Foods: Stay away from curd (yogurt), pickles, and vinegar, as these increase the acidity (Pitta) in the blood. • Do not scratch: Scratching can lead to the Koebner phenomenon, where new lesions develop in areas of skin injury.

Hello, Lichen Planus (LP) ek autoimmune condition hai, jisme aapka immune system skin cells par attack karta hai. Kamzori (weakness) shayad steroids ya heavy medications ki wajah se ho sakti hai. Lichen Planus recurrent (baar-baar aane wala) ho sakta hai. Yeh aksar tab trigger hota hai jab body mein stress badhta hai ya immunity imbalance hoti hai. Allopathic dawaiyan symptoms ko daba deti hain, par jad se khatam karne ke liye immune system ko balance karna zaroori hai. Ayurveda mein ise Kushtha Roga ki category mein rakha jata hai, jo Vata aur Kapha dosha ke imbalance aur Rakta (blood) ki ashuddhi ki wajah se hota hai. Weakness ka matlab hai ki aapki ‘Agni’ (digestion) aur ‘Ojas’ (vitality) dawaiyon se prabhavit hui hai. Ayurveda Medicines : 1. Winsoria Oil: Ise affected area par din mein do baar lagayein. Yeh itching aur scaling ko kam karne mein sabse best hai. 2. Mahatiktakam Kwath: 15ml liquid ko 60ml gungune paani ke saath khane se pehle din mein do baar lein. Yeh blood purifier hai aur inflammation kam karta hai. 3. Manjishtadi Kwath: 15ml liquid ko 60ml paani ke saath mix karke din mein do baar lein. Yeh skin ki healing fast karta hai. 4. Amrutarishta: 20ml equal quantity paani ke saath khane ke baad lein. Yeh aapki weakness door karega aur immunity build karega. Diet: Zyada namak, khatti cheezein (dahi, nimbu), aur mirch-masala bilkul band kar dein. Stress: Stress LP ka sabse bada dushman hai, isliye thoda meditation karein.

Yes, Lichen Planus can come back, especially if your body is weak. Lichen planus is mainly due to Pitta + Vata imbalance and Rakta (blood) dushti. When you feel severe weakness (low Ojas/immunity), the body becomes more prone to recurrence. Why it may return: Stress (you already noted this trigger) Weak digestion (Agni imbalance) Low immunity (Ojas kshaya) Improper diet (spicy, sour, junk) Advice Improve strength (Ojas): take milk with small amount of ghee, soaked almonds Balance Pitta: avoid spicy, fried, sour foods Reduce stress: daily pranayama, meditation Support digestion: light, warm, easy-to-digest food Herbs : Guduchi, Amla, Yashtimadhu

Lichen planus ek auto-immune type skin condition hai, isliye haan — ye wapas aa sakta hai, especially jab body weak ho ya immunity disturb ho. Aapko jo weakness feel ho rahi hai, wo: Medicines ke side effects Low appetite Body depletion ki wajah se ho sakti hai. Is stage par sirf disease control nahi, body strength aur recovery bhi equally important hai. Kuch important baatein: Stress kam rakhein — stress se flare-ups badhte hain. Spicy, sour, fried food avoid karein (ye pitta badhata hai). Simple, nourishing diet lein. Ghar par: Raat ko doodh + thoda ghee lena body ko strength deta hai. Din me coconut water helpful rahega. Mahamanjishtadi kwath – 15 ml twice daily after food Gandhak rasayan – 1 tablet twice daily after food Ashwagandha churna – 1 teaspoon doodh ke saath raat ko Yeh treatment skin ko calm karega + weakness ko improve karega. Agar weakness bahut zyada hai, to ek baar apne doctor se current medicines review bhi karwayein (dose adjust karna pad sakta hai). Consistent diet + stress control se recurrence ka risk kam kiya ja sakta hai. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)

Haan, Lichen Planus ek chronic condition hai jo aksar stress aur immune system ki kamzori se trigger hoti hai. Isliye sirf upar se thik hona kafi nahi hai, iska jadh (root cause) par kaam karna zaroori hai. Ayurvedic medicines for treating weakness and avoiding reoccurance of Lichan planus 1.Ashwagandha capsules 1 cap din m 2 bar garam dudh k sath khane k bad 2.Kaishore guggulu 2 goli din m 2 bar pani k sath khane k bad 3.Amritarishta 15 ml matra m saman bhaag pani mila kr khane k bad din m 2 bar 4.Mahamanjisthadi kwath 15 ml matra m saman bhaag pani mila kr khane k bad din m 2 bar **Khane-Peene Ka Parhez ** skin diseases ke liye parhez sabse zaroori hai: -Avoid (Nahi Khana): Jyada namak (Salt), mirch-masala, dahi (Curd), fermented foods (Idli/Dosa), aur khatte phal. -Diet: Halka aur taza khana khayein jaise Lauki, Turai, aur Moong dal. -Viruddha Ahara: Doodh ke saath namkeen cheezein ya machli (fish) bilkul na khayein.

Haan, Lichen Planus wapas aa sakta hai (relapse ho sakta hai). Yeh ek autoimmune condition hai jahan aapki body ka immune system galti se aapki skin par attack karta hai. Aapko itni severe weakness kyun ho rahi hai? Aapko 1 mahine se bhi kam samay mein oral dawaaiyon se itna jaldi aaram mil gaya hai. Aamtaur par aisi tez recovery strong allopathic dawaaiyon (jaise steroids ya immunosuppressants) se aati hai. In dawaaiyon ne skin ke symptoms ko daba (suppress) diya hai, lekin inka sabse bada side effect yahi hota hai ki yeh body ki internal energy ko bilkul khatam kar deti hain. Isi wajah se aapko itni thakan aur kamzori ho rahi hai ki aapke daily kaam karna bhi mushkil ho raha hai. Is bimari ko wapas aane se rokne ke liye humein aapke Stress (jo aapka main trigger hai) ko control karna hoga, aur bina skin ko irritate kiye aapki energy wapas laani hogi. ✓Ayurvedic Prescription (For Weakness & Relapse Prevention) Yeh dawaaiyan aapki allopathic medicines ke sath safe hain aur aapki weakness ko theek karne mein madad karengi: 1. Giloy Ghanvati Dosage: 2 tablets din mein do baar. Time: Nashte (breakfast) aur dinner ke 30 minute baad. Vehicle: Halka gunguna paani (Warm water). 2. Brahmi Vati Dosage: 1 tablet din mein do baar. Time: Giloy Ghanvati ke sath hi lein. 3. Mahamanjishthadi Kwath Dosage: 15 ml dawa ko 15 ml paani mein milakar. Time: Din mein do baar, khali pet (khaane se 30 minute pehle). ✓Crucial Care Rules Dawaai Achanak Band Na Karein: Doctor ki oral dawaaiyon ko ekdam se band (stop) kabhi mat kariyega. Aisa karne se Lichen Planus dugni tezi se wapas aata hai (Rebound Flare). Ise dheere-dheere taper karke band kiya jata hai. Diet Restrictions: Apni diet se khatta (sour), zyada namak, aur fermented khana (jaise dahi, achar, tamatar, aur sirka) bilkul hata dein. Yeh cheezein Pitta dosha ko badhati hain aur skin mein itching trigger karti hain. Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma
