Suffering from vata pitta type grahani causing shapeless motion, bloating after meals, skin problem, feeling cold often. Some dr advise heating meds which improve digestion but irritates gut & further loosen motion.Taking cooling med makes digestion sluggish & motion sticky. So took both heating before food and bilvadi after food then all problems vanishes but till i use the meds. Pitta is being managed using either giloy, dadimashtaka, bilvadi & so many herbs & motion becomes formed but this vata is creating problems.I am fed of managing these problems.Since years finding a cure for it .Pls suggest something.

Vata–Pitta Grahani (short plan) Medicines Kutajghan Vati – 2 tabs twice daily after food Dadimashtaka Churna – 3 g before food with little ghee Musta + Bilva churna – 2 g each twice daily after food Ashwagandha churna – 3 g at night with warm milk Add (if bloating) Hingvastak churna – 1 g with first bite Diet (essential) Daily buttermilk (takra) after lunch + jeera + saindhava Warm, fresh food + 1–2 tsp ghee Avoid cold, raw, irregular meals
So, from my understanding of your symptoms, you are having vishamnagni, and you seem to have a mrudu koshta, i.e., a pitta pradhana nature of the abdomen, irritated by even milder dosage of ushnata. You need to take medicines that will correct agni without stimulating pitta too much and medications that can ease your symptoms. Start with guduchyadi kashaya, 15 ml twice daily before food with 60 ml lukewarm water. This will stimulate agni, without stimulating pitta and also help in vata anulomana, dadimashtaka choorna 5 gm twice daily with butter milk after food, kutajarishta 30 ml thrice daily after food.once your agni stabilises, we can start a snehapana and a virechana karma to improve the excess pitta condition and bilwadi rasyana to strengthen your digestive system hopefully permanently. All your food needs to be freshly prepared, preferably steamed, no fried, spicy, fermented or carbonated foods
