In cases where standard Ayurvedic prescriptions haven’t yielded results, the focus usually shifts to leaking gut health, cumulative toxicity (Dooshi Visha), and stress-induced flare-ups. •Guggulu Preparations: Kaishore Guggulu or Panchatikta Ghrita Guggulu 1 bd after food with normal water help in “scraping” toxins from the deeper tissues. •Medicated Ghee: 1 tsf only in morning Consumption of Mahatiktaka Ghrita on an empty stomach helps lubricate the skin from within and pacifies the “heat” in the blood. •777 Oil / Wrightia Tinctoria: for external use only A clinically proven Ayurvedic oil that slows down the rapid cell turnover characteristic of psoriasis. Psoriasis is often fueled by subtle dietary mistakes that keep the immune system in a state of alarm. Avoid the following combinations strictly: •Milk + Anything Salty or Sour: This includes avoiding tea with biscuits or milk with fruit/fish. •Excessive Fermented Foods: Curd, idli, dosa, and pickles can increase “acid” levels in the blood. •Nightshades: Limit tomatoes, eggplants, and chilies, as they are known triggers for skin inflammation
How to treat psoriasis on palms and soles that causes deep cracks and bleeding? - #55118
Doctor, I have psoriasis on my palms and the soles of my feet. When my skin becomes dry, deep cracks develop and sometimes they bleed. I have been taking Patolakadurohinyadi Kashayam and Avipathi Choornam for the past one week, but I have not noticed even 1% improvement yet. My question was viewed by 60 respected doctors, but only Dr. Sara Garg replied. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sara. 🙏

This condition is called Vipadika in Ayurveda. Taking alone patolakaturohinyadi is not enough in this condition. Avoid food that triggers the condition. Avoid incompatible food, it may worsen condition. Avoid fermented food, processed food, curd Daily do foot massage with Ksheera Bala Taila. Take this medication for 1 month. 1. Mahamanjishtadi Kwath 10ml thrice daily after food. 2. Panchatiktaka Ghrita 5 ml after food with warm water 3. Cutfar cream ( twice apply daily on clean palm and feet)
• Panchtiktaka Ghrit (100 GM) - Planet Ayurveda (100 GM) — x2 • Mahamanjishtadi Kwath (200 Ml) - Kerala Ayurveda (Mahamanjishtadi Kwath 200 Ml) — x2 • Ksheerabala Thailam - Kerala Ayurveda (Ksheerabala Thailam 200 Ml) — x1
Thank you for reply Doctor, I had also tried this medicine for 1 month and ate only boiled food, but I did not see any improvement. I also have Grade 2 fatty liver and a duodenal ulcer.
Ok I recommend you to take a personal consultation for detail history. And proper consultation.
Doctor, I consulted a doctor one week ago by paying 700 rupees, but I was prescribed only Avipathi Choornam and Patolakaturohiniyadi Kashayam. You mentioned that this may not be the right treatment. I have already consulted 12–13 doctors across South India, including in Udupi, Mangalore, Hubli, Mysore, and Bangalore, but I still have not seen any improvement. At this point, I am really confused and don’t understand what to do next.
For better communication personal consultation is better option I suggest.
Palmo-plantar psoriasis with cracks usually takes 4–8 weeks for visible improvement. One week is too early to judge response. Take Mahatiktaka Ghrita 1 tsp with warm water or milk twice daily after food Khadirarishta 20 ml + equal water twice daily after food Kaishora Guggulu 2 tablets twice daily after food Continue Avipattikar Churna 1 tsp at bedtime if constipation or excess heat present External: Apply pure coconut oil + small amount of ghee 3–4 times daily At night apply thick layer and wear cotton socks/gloves Avoid frequent soap, detergent, hot water Diet Avoid curd, sour foods, bakery items, seafood, chicken, alcohol Reduce sugar and very spicy foods Take warm water, neem leaves small quantity, bitter vegetables
