Namaste. Your fasting blood sugar of 186 mg/dL and triglycerides of 241 are higher than ideal and do need proper attention. In Ayurveda, this condition is commonly related to Madhumeha (diabetes) with Kapha-Pitta imbalance and weak digestion (Agnimandya), which may also be causing your acidity and upper abdominal discomfort. The good thing is that with the right diet, lifestyle, and Ayurvedic support, these values can improve gradually and naturally. Ayurvedic Guidance For Blood Sugar Control herbs such as: Gudmar (Gymnema) Meshashringi Karela Jamun seed powder Neem Nisha Amalaki These herbs help support pancreatic function, improve insulin sensitivity, and reduce sugar cravings. For High Triglycerides & Heart Protection To lower triglycerides and improve HDL naturally: Take warm water throughout the day Include garlic, flaxseed, methi (fenugreek), and arjuna Avoid: Fried foods Bakery items Excess rice/sweets Late-night meals Cold drinks and alcohol Daily walking after meals is very beneficial. For Acidity & Upper Abdominal Pain Your severe upper abdominal pain with reflux should not be ignored. Sometimes acidity, gastritis, fatty liver, gallbladder issues, or pancreatic irritation can produce similar symptoms. Ayurvedically: Eat small frequent meals Avoid tea/coffee on empty stomach Avoid spicy, sour, and oily food Do not lie down immediately after meals Take dinner before 8 PM Cooling remedies often helpful: Jeera-coriander-fennel boiled water Amla Coconut water (in moderation if sugars are controlled)

Hello Mr Avksanakaram Thank you for your question I can understand it is difficult to deal with health concerns which occurs together as in your case your blood sugar, triglycerides, acidity and abdominal discomfort all has started together But in your case good thing is that you can improve it all together simultaneously -With correct medications -Diet correction -Balancing your metabolism So dont worry we are here to help you out ▪️Your fasting glucose us around 186 mg/dl and your triglycerides is around 241 This indicates that -Sugar is uncontrolled -Triglycerides is also on higher side ▪️Uncontrolled sugar and high triglycerides over the time, if not controlled can risk you at -Heart diseases -fatty liver -Nerve weakness -Digestive imbalances But with early management this can ve definately prevented ▪️About your acidity and abdominal pain This should not be ignored in your case This can happen due to diabetic medicines (Most of diabetic medicine works by prolonging gastric emptying time means food remains in stomach for longer duration) As you have mentioned pain is severe its better to properly evaluate instead of depending on antacids ▪️For bring triglycerides and sugar under control naturally These measures will help you greatly ➖Include -have warm water throughout the day -Overnight soaked fenugreek -Cinnamon tea -Green vegetables anf cooked salads -Millets, barley, oats -Moderate walk after meals -Dinner before 7:30 ▪️To improve HDL(HDL is nothing but your good cholesterol) -have daily brisk walk -4 almonds and 1 walnut daily -Reduce your weight if overweight -Have proper sound sleep -Manage your stress ➖Avoid -Sugar, bakery sweets -White rice -Fried food -Refined oils -tea or coffee in excess -sweet fruits ▪️Ayurveda can significantly bring your diabetes and triglycerides under controlled -It will improve your metabolism -Improve insulin sensitivity -Support liver -improve heart health naturally But we can prescribe exact medicine once i know your 1. age and weight 2.Current diabetic medications 3.Blood pressure 4.Liver function test 5. Complete lipid profile A proper assesment of your health will help us to create a plan which will bring both your sugar and cholesterol under control so i would genuinely recommended a detailed personal consultation once If your pain is severe just get a ultrasound of abdomen to rule out the cause of pain Wishing you a good health and speedy recovery Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Your lipid profile shows elevated Triglycerides (241 mg/dL) and marginal HDL (49 mg/dL). High-Yield Herbo-Mineral Recommendations To address the blood sugar, clear the lipid channels, and pacify the gastric lining, consider incorporating these classical formulations under supervision: For Blood Sugar & Lipid Control (Prameha & Medoroga): ••Chandraprabha Vati: 2 tablets twice daily after meals. It acts as a systemic catalyst, improving insulin sensitivity and clearing Meda (fat) from the channels. ••Nisha-Amalki Churna: A classical combination of Haridra (Turmeric) and Amalaki (Amla). Take 3 grams with warm water on an empty stomach in the morning. This directly regulates blood glucose and reduces systemic inflammation. ••Arogyavardhini Vati: 1 tablet twice daily before meals. Excellent for clearing liver congestion, processing triglycerides, and correcting Agni. For Hyperacidity & Upper Abdominal Pain (Amlapitta): ••Avipattikar Churna: 3-5 grams with warm water at bedtime. It induces a mild, therapeutic downward movement (Anulomana), relieving upper abdominal pressure and neutralizing excess acid. ••Sutashekhar Ras (Plain): 1 tablet twice daily before meals if the sharp pain and burning reflux persist. Diet & Lifestyle Modifications (Ahara & Vihara) •Dietary Rules (Ahara) ••The Bitter & Astringent Focus: Incorporate Tikta (bitter) and Kashaya (astringent) tastes which pacify both Kapha and Pitta. Lean heavily on Karavellaka (Bitter gourd), Methi (Fenugreek seeds), and Amalaki. ••Grains: Transition from refined carbohydrates to ancient grains like Yava (Barley) and Kodrava (Kodo Millet). Barley is specifically praised in classical texts for reducing Meda (lipids) while maintaining strength. ••Healthy Fats: To raise your HDL naturally without spiking triglycerides, consume 1 teaspoon of A2 Cow’s Ghee on an empty stomach or mixed with warm barley khichdi. Ghee stimulates the Agni without clogging the Srotas when taken in small, therapeutic doses. ••Avoid: Day sleeping (Diva-svapna), heavy dairy products (curd, cheese), and deep-fried foods, as they instantly vitiate Kapha and worsen both triglycerides and blood sugar. ••Daily Regime (Vihara) ••Pranayama: Practice Anuloma Viloma and Kapalbhati (if abdominal pain is not acute) for 15 minutes daily to improve tissue oxygenation and metabolic rate. Exercise: Engage in 30-45 minutes of brisk walking (Chankramana) to help move circulating glucose into skeletal muscle and lower triglyceride levels. ••Do Not Stop Current Medications: The gastric symptoms you are experiencing may be a transient side effect of your current anti-diabetic medications (such as Metformin). Do not stop them abruptly. Instead, discuss these symptoms with your physician to see if a dosage adjustment or a change in formulation is warranted. ••Cardiovascular Safety: Given the elevated triglycerides, check your Hs-CRP (High-sensitivity C-reactive protein) and obtain a baseline ECG. This will give you definitive clarity on systemic vascular inflammation and peace of mind regarding your cardiac health. ••Regular Tracking: Re-evaluate your fasting and post-prandial blood glucose every 2 weeks, and re-test your lipid profile in 6 to 8 weeks to track the efficacy of this integrative approach… •• for more details and discussion you can take my personal consultation
