Experience:
5 years
Education:
B.A.M.S,( Banaras Hindu University). M.S(Ayurveda), (Bharti Viidyapeeth, Pune).
Academic degree:
Master of Surgery in Ayurveda
Area of specialization:
As an MS (Shalya) specialist, my expertise lies in the Ayurvedic equivalent of general surgery, focusing on the surgical management of abdominal and anorectal diseases. This branch is highly developed in treating conditions like piles, fissures, and fistula-in-ano. One of my core specializations is the Ksharasutra procedure for anal fistula, a time-tested Ayurvedic technique known for its minimal recurrence rate and high success in ano-rectal surgery. I combine precision with holistic care for lasting results.
Achievements:
I authored my thesis on an innovative technique for probing and ligation of Ksharasutra in anal fistula using an infant feeding tube—aimed at improving precision and patient comfort. Over the past four years, I have successfully treated thousands of patients with a range of anorectal and abdominal conditions, combining evidence-based Ayurvedic surgical techniques with compassionate, outcome-focused care.

I’m Dr. Pranav Nandan Tripathi, MS (Shalya – General Surgery), with a dedicated focus on abdominal and anorectal diseases. Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of treating and operating on thousands of patients, combining surgical precision with a deep understanding of Ayurvedic surgical principles to deliver effective and lasting results. My clinical expertise includes managing a wide range of conditions such as piles (arsha), fissure-in-ano (parikartika), fistula-in-ano (bhagandara), hernias, and abdominal pathologies. I perform classical Ayurvedic para-surgical procedures like Ksharasutra and Agnikarma, along with minor and major surgeries based on Shalya Tantra. Every treatment I offer is tailored to the patient’s constitution (prakriti), severity of disease, and associated systemic imbalances, ensuring a holistic and patient-centered approach. Throughout my practice, I have emphasized safe surgical outcomes, reduced post-operative complications, and faster recovery by integrating Ayurvedic post-care regimens with modern surgical techniques. I believe in clear communication, detailed preoperative counseling, and ongoing follow-up, which helps patients understand their condition and become active participants in their healing process. What drives me as a surgeon is not just the technical aspect of the procedure, but the ability to relieve pain, restore function, and improve the overall quality of life for my patients. I also remain committed to staying updated with evolving practices in both classical Ayurvedic texts and evidence-based research to ensure I deliver the highest standard of care. My mission is to make Ayurvedic surgery accessible, safe, and effective for all—especially in conditions that demand precise interventions alongside holistic recovery support.
