Namaste, Your symptoms — morning nasal blockage, frequent sniffing, and breathing difficulty — indicate sinus congestion with kapha accumulation, often associated with chronic sinusitis. The focus should be on clearing congestion, reducing mucus formation, and improving respiratory health. Avoid cold drinks, curd (especially at night), and refrigerated or heavy foods. Protect yourself from cold exposure and dust. Prefer warm, freshly cooked food and drink warm water throughout the day. Steam inhalation once daily is very helpful to clear nasal passages. Maintain regular sleep and avoid late nights. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing: Sitopaladi Churna – ½ teaspoon, twice daily with honey after food Talisadi Churna – ½ teaspoon, twice daily with honey Anu Taila (nasya) – 2 drops in each nostril in the morning (after mild steam, if possible) These are traditionally used to reduce mucus, clear nasal passages, and support sinus health when combined with proper routine. Since this is a long-standing issue, regular care is important. With consistency, symptoms can reduce significantly over a few weeks. Consultation can help tailor this further to your needs.
