मुझे लगभग 4 महीने से घुटने में दर्द हो रहा है। जब मैं चलता हूँ और सीढ़ियाँ चढ़ता हूँ तो मेरे दाहिने घुटने में बहुत दर्द होता है। डॉक्टर ने आराम करने और इबुप्रोफेन लेने की सलाह दी है। आयुर्वेद मुझे क्या सलाह दे सकता है?

Knee pain for four months especially pain while walking and climbing stairs usually indicates strain inflammation or early joint wear and in Ayurveda this is commonly linked with Vata aggravation affecting the joint Rest and short term pain relief medicines like ibuprofen can reduce symptoms but for long term relief the focus should be on reducing inflammation improving lubrication and strengthening the joint You can start with local application of Mahanarayana taila massaging around the knee once or twice daily followed by mild heat fomentation which helps in reducing stiffness and improving circulation For internal support you can take Yograj guggulu two tablets twice daily after food and Maharasnadi kwath 15 ml twice daily Avoid excessive walking stair climbing and strain for some time but do not keep the joint completely immobile Gentle movements and simple knee strengthening exercises under guidance are important to maintain function Diet should include warm nourishing foods with good fats like ghee and avoid cold dry and processed foods which increase joint dryness

Hello I can understand when it becomes difficult to even walk and climb stairs when it has been persisting since 4 months but dont worry we are here to help you out ▪️For your understanding This is early stage of osteoarthritis -It is mostly due to vata aggrevation causing pain during your joint movement as seen in climbing -Pain while walking is clasical sign of degenerative changes ▪️Probable cause in your case -Excessive strain on your knee -Age related changes -Lack of lubricating fluid in between the bones ▪️Ayurvedic plan of treatment ➖Yogaraj guggulu 1 tablet twice daily after food It reduces vata and pain ➖Dashmoolaristha 20 ml twice daily after food It is anti-inflammatory in nature ➖GT capsule 1 at bed time Prevents further degeneration ▪️External Treatment -Mahanarayana taila -warm the oil and apply on your knees twice daily Followed by hot water bag fomentation ▪️Panchakarma If pain is continuing Consider doing panchakarma from nearby pancahakarma center This is signifiacntly reduce your pain Prevent further degenerative changes Therapies -Janu basti with Balashwagandhadi taila -Janu dhara -Upanaha ▪️Activities and Exercise Do the following -alternate day Strengthening exercises -walk on flat surface for 20 minutes ▪️Diet Take 1 tsp of ghee daily -milk -Sesame seeds Avoid very cold and processed food Loose weight if you are overweight With consistent internal medication and oil massaging you will definitely feel relief in pain Wishing you a good health😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate
