Ayurveda gives good results in degenerative changes of disc, but for that, along with medicine some diet and lifestyle related changes has to be done. For medicine, proper consultation is important. I am suggesting you some diet and lifestyle changes here. Try to fix timing of food and sleep. According to Ayurveda degenerative changes occur due to VATA imbalance so avoid factors which cause vata imbalance like too much fasting, not eating on time, night awakening, too much travelling, having excess physical or mental stress, etc. Avoid sitting/standing for long duration and avoid sleeping on bed in which proper posture is not maintained. If you have pain then avoid driving two wheelers without gear. Take warm freshly prepared home based food. Avoid staple processed , refrigerated food, chips etc items and refrigerated water.
