Dr. Neeraj Sarjan
Experience: | 2 years |
Education: | Government Ayurveda College Rewa Madhya Pradesh |
Academic degree: | Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery |
Area of specialization: | I am mainly focusing now on online Ayurvedic consultations, cause I feel many people don’t get access to proper classical care in their area. Through these virtual sessions I try to go deep into patient history, asking about prakriti, daily routine, diet habits, stress levels and dosha imbalance before making any suggestion. Sometimes it takes longer than a clinic visit honestly, since I need to listen carefully without missing small hints.
My way is always root cause based — not just giving a herb for a symptom, but seeing if vata is aggravated, or if kapha sluggishness is behind the issue, or pitta pushing into digestion. I create treatment plans that may include herbal medicines, sometimes simple home remedies, diet charts, lifestyle corrections, and even yoga or breathing practices when needed. It’s about making the whole routine sustainable, not overwhelming.
The idea of online Ayurveda is also to make it convinient, people can consult from home without travel or waiting. I’ve seen this help busy professionals, mothers with young kids, even elders who can’t move out easily. Of course, sometimes network issues or missing physical examination limit few things, but with detailed questioning and patient trust, results come out good.
End of the day my goal is to make Ayurveda accessible, clear and effective, no matter where the patient is sitting. Authentic care, simple guidance and practical steps — that’s what I try to keep as the base. |
Achievements: | I am most proud about being able to diagnose right and guide patients with clarity, not just writing prescription and finishing there. Many times people come with long history of wrong treatment or confusion, and I try to see the root pattern using Ayurvedic principles, dosha signs, prakriti analysis etc. Treating the illness is one part, but I also spend time on teaching them small changes, like food habits, sleep routine, stress control. That preventive side is also a big achivement for me. |
I am working as a Consultant Doctor at Sharmayu Ayurveda Pharmacy, where my daily work is a mix of patient care, case analysis and giving therapeutic inputs on medicine usage. It’s an interesting balance, because I get to sit with patients, understand their prakriti and disease samprapti in detail, then also discuss with the pharmacy side about formulations, dose adjustments and dravya guna suitability. That crossover really taught me how small changes in combinations or dosage can change outcome a lot. When I see patients, I don’t only focus on their immediate problem but try to read the whole picture — dosha imbalance, srotas involvement, lifestyle triggers. Whether its digestive disorders like acidity or IBS, chronic skin diseases, hormonal issues like PCOD, musculoskeletal complaints like back pain, or even stress linked concerns, I prefer to design a root cause based plan. Many times that means mixing classical panchakarma with diet correction, or simple dinacharya and meditation, sometimes it is just about correcting food timings. One thing I strongly believe is explaining to patients why I suggest certain therapies or medicines. Once they understand the logic, compliance and trust improves. In Sharmayu setting I also stay updated on product development and new formulations which makes me more confident to choose safest and most effective options for each person. Some days the flow is overwhelming, with multiple patients plus pharmacy consultations, and yes there are mistakes or rushed notes, but overall it has given me deeper experiance in both clinical and therapeutic aspects. My goal remains simple—to offer authentic Ayurvedic care, practical guidance and sustainable healing that fits into modern life yet holds on to classical principles.
