Dr. Vikas Agrawal
Experience: | 26 years |
Education: | S S N AYURVED COLLEGE AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE |
Academic degree: | Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery |
Area of specialization: | I am focused on caring for common diseases of infancy and youth, and this area keeps me alert because children change fast and symptoms are not always clear. My experince includes managing routine childhood illnesses as well as observing how early health issues can quietly influence physcial growth and overall devlopment over time.
I am especially involved in working with adolescents who face mental stress–related conditions that affect both body and intellectual development, which is something families often underestimate. During adolescense, stress can show up in strange ways, sleep issues, growth concerns, behavior shifts, and I try to look at the whole picture, not just one complaint. Sometimes I pause and think twice before advising, because one answer never fits everyone!!
I am working as a Family Consultant, supporting children and their families through different stages of growth, health concerns, and decision making. This role allows me to connect medical understanding with family dynamics, which is not always neat or predictable, but it matters. I aim for practical guidance, steady follow up, and honest discussion, even when progress feels slow or unclear. |
Achievements: | I am recognized for my work in medical emergencies, and receiving Medical Emergency Award was one moment that stayed with me, even now I think about the responcibility it carries. I am also honored as a Covid front line health worker, during time that tested limits of clinical care and endurance.
I am serving as General Secretary of NIMA Chhattisgarh, which added leadership duties alongside medical practice, sometimes balancing both felt uneven. I am also recieved many more awards from govt. and NGO bodies, which quietly remind me the work does matter, even on hard days. |
I am a medical professional with long, hands on experince in clinical and administrative healthcare roles, and I still feel I am learning everyday. Over the years I worked as a Resident Medical Officer for 10 years, handling day to day patient care, emergency coordination, and clinical decision support in hospital settings, sometimes under real pressure and limited time. I am also worked as Deputy Medical Superintendent, where my role extended beyond clinical duties into hospital administration, coordination with medical teams, and ensuring smooth functioning of patient services. This position required balancing patient safety, staff concerns, and operational responsiblities, which was not always simple, and at times a bit overwhelming. I am involved deeply in patient counseling and medical consultancy, focusing on clear communication, realistic guidance, and helping patients understand their condition and treatment options without overcomplicating things. I also provide medico legal advice, drawing from years of clinical exposure and practical understanding of medical documentation, ethical practice, and legal responsibilities, which many doctors worry about but rarely talk openly. I am having around 25 years of experience in consultancy, supporting patients and healthcare systems with informed medical opinions and ongoing guidance. My approach to care is practical, patient-focused, and honest, even when answers are not straightforward. I try to listen more than I speak, though I do speak alot when clarity is needed!! I am committed to ethical medical practice, continous learning, and responsible decision-making, even when situations feel uncertain or demanding.
