Area of specialization: | I am mainly working with urology cases and haemorrhoids cases, and this area has slowly become the focus of my daily clinical thinking. My exposure include evaluation of urinary tract problems, lower urinary symptoms, stone related conditions, and basic urological procedures, along with consistent involvement in haemorrhoids management, both conservative and surgical.
I am careful about patient assessment in urology, because symptoms often overlap and missing one detail can change the plan. For haemorrhoids cases, I pay close attention to grading, lifestyle factors, and post treatment follow up, which patients usually underestimate. There are times when decisions feel unclear, but that process teaches restraint and precision.
My approach stay practical and patient centered. I try to explain the condition in simple language, even when clinics are busy or time feels short. Clear communication, proper examination, and stepwise treatment planning matter more than rushing to intervene. I continue learning every day, refining technique, judgement, and consistency, even when progress feel slower than expected. |
Achievements: | I am attended a hands on training program in Bagalkot, where I got practical exposure to surgical techniques and real time case handling. The training focus on learning by doing, observing senior faculty, and understanding small operative details that books dont always explain. It helped sharpen my basics, improve confidence, and also showed few gaps I still work on!! |
I am pursuing my M.S final in Davangere, currently focused on strengthening my foundation in general surgery and related clinical practice. My training at this stage involve daily exposure to surgical wards, operation theatre work, emergency care, and long case discussions, which honestly keeps me on my toes most days. I work closely with senior surgeons and faculty, learning step-by-step decision making, patient evaluation, and perioperative management, sometimes slowly, sometimes faster than expected. I am particularly interested in developing safe surgical judgement, understanding anatomy in real operating settings, and applying evidence based principles to routine and complex cases. Pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow up are areas I give a lot of attention to, because missing small details there can change outcomes. There are days when things feels overwhelming, but the learning never really stops. My approach with patients is simple and direct. I try to explain conditions and procedures in a clear way, though I know I still need improvment there. Listening carefully matter more than rushing, even during busy OPD hours. I believe consistent training, ethical practice, and honest communication are core to becoming a dependable surgeon. Being in the final phase of my M.S, I am focused on refining my surgical skills, academic knowledge, and clinical confidence, even when progress feel uneven at times. This journey is demanding, a bit exhausting, but also deeply grounding in what medicine actually means!!
