Dr. Sheetal Desai Korade
Experience: | 13 years |
Education: | Gomantak Ayurveda Mahavidhyalaya |
Academic degree: | Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery |
Area of specialization: | I am focused on treating lifestyle disorders like obesity, diabetes, and high cholesterol, issues I see almost daily and that rarely have one simple cause. My work also centers on hormonal imbalnces such as thyroid problems, PCOD, and infertility, where patience and proper Ayurvedic planning really matters, even when progress feels slow.
I handle joint and musculoskeletal disorders including Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Osteoarthritis (OA), using Ayurveda to reduce pain, stiffness, and long term damage, though results can vary person to person. Digestive and gastric disorders like acidity, indigestion, and chronic gut issues are another core area of my practice, often linked with diet mistakes we dont notice.
Panchakarma therapies and Ayurvedic detoxification form a key part of my approach, both for preventive care and active treatment. I also guide patients on diet, nutrition, and lifestyle modification based on authentic Ayurvedic principles, practical ones, not extreme rules!!. |
Achievements: | I am founder of Atulya Ayurveda Panchakarma and Wellness Centre in Thāne, built slowly with steady clinical work. I have treated patients dealing with lifestyle, hormonal, joint, and digestive disorders through Ayurveda and Panchkarma, results came with time not rush. My practice is known for ethical, patient centric care, even when choices are hard. I also conduct Ayurveda workshops and wellness programs, and stay active as a wellness educator promoting authentic Ayurveda, learning while teaching!!. |
I am an Ayurveda practitioner and Panchakarma expert with over 8 years of hands-on clinical experience across wellness, nutrition, and theraputic care. My work grew slowly, patient by patient, and in 2019 I founded Atulya Ayurveda Panchakarma and Wellness Centre in Thāne, where I now serve as Lead Consultant (and still learning every day). My core focus is on lifestyle disorders, hormonal imbalance like thyroid conditions and PCOD, joint problems, and long standing digestive issues. I rely on classical Ayurvedic assessment, Panchkarma therapies, diet planning, and realistic lifestyle guidance, not shortcuts. Treatment plans are individual, sometimes they need adjustment, that part matters to me. Alongside clinical practice, I also work as an Ayurveda consultant, teacher, and trainer. I conduct workshops and short courses on Ayurvedic principles, daily routine, cooking methods, and therapy techniques. Teaching keeps my own understanding sharp, even when I feel I need to revise basics again. I write regularly on wellness and authentic Ayurveda, sharing practical insights through content creation, though writing is not always neat or perfect. My professional journey includes practice experience in Goa, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Thāne, each place shaped my approach differently. I believe Ayurveda works best when it fits real life, not an ideal one!!
