Dr. Kanika
Experience: | 3 years |
Education: | Shri Krishna Ayush University, Kurukshetra |
Academic degree: | Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery |
Area of specialization: | I am a practitioner focused on hair and skin disorders, vaat disease related joint pain, back pain, neck pain, heel pain, migraine, nasal polyp, and chronic constipation, along with female disorders like irregular periods, period pain, PCOD, and leucorrhoea. My work revolves around understanding the root imbalance behind these concerns, not just managing surface symptoms.
In hair and skin cases, I look at scalp health, texture changes, pigmentation, recurrent eruptions — small details that sometimes gets overlooked. For musculoskeletal pain linked with vaat imbalance, whether it is lower back stiffness or heel pain that makes morning difficult, I aim for structured evaluation and steady management plan. Migraine and nasal polyp cases require patience and close follow up, and I try to guide patients with realistic expectations.
Women’s health is area I care deeply about. Irregular cycles, dysmenorrhea, PCOD, chronic discharge — these are sensitive issues and need careful listening, not judgement. I belive consistency in treatment and lifestyle correction really matters here.
My approach is practical, individualized, and rooted in clinical reasoning. Every patient situation are different, and I try to keep communication open, clear, and honest even when progress feels slow... because long term stability is what we are aiming for. |
Achievements: | I am honored to have received multiple awards during workshops and seminars while serving as a state coordinator, recognitions that reflected my active involvement in academic discussions and professional training programs. I also recieved a “Thank You Doctor” award in trichology for my dedication and patient care. These achievements reminds me that consistent effort, ethical practice, and commitment to hair and scalp health truly matters!! |
I am a medical professional with 6 month experience as a Physician Consultant in Allopathy and 1 year experience as consultant trichologist, and my work has shaped the way I look at patient care in a very grounded way. In allopathic practice, I was involved in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment planning across a range of common medical conditions. Those months may sound short, but they were intense, hands-on, and taught me how important accurate evaluation and rational pharmacotherapy really is. Later, as a consultant trichologist, I focused on hair and scalp disorders — alopecia, telogen effluvium, dandruff, patterned hair loss, and other trichological concerns. I work with clinical history, scalp examination, and structured treatment protocols to address hair thinning and shedding at its root cause, not just cosmetically. Hair loss can affect confidence in quiet ways, and I try to approach it with both medical logic and practical solutions. My approach blends allopathic principles with focused trichology expertise. I belive in clear communication, realistic expectations, and treatment plans that patients can actually follow. Sometimes progress is gradual, sometimes quicker than expected — medicine can be unpredictable like that, and I stay attentive to response and adjust when needed. I value structured diagnosis, patient education, and ethical practice. There is no shortcut in healthcare, and there shouldnt be. My goal are simple: provide scientifically sound guidance, maintain professional integrity, and help patients feel understood while we work toward visible and measurable improvement.
