Dr. Pooja Doshi
Experience: | 3 years |
Education: | Gujarat Ayurved University |
Academic degree: | Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery |
Area of specialization: | I am mainly focused on managing digestive issues, breathing troubles, menopausal changes and mental health in a Ayurvedic way. Over the years I’ve seen how small gut problems like hyperacidity or IBS can disturb the whole body system, so I pay close attention to gastrointestinal care with herbs, diet planning and when needed Panchakarma. Same goes for respiratory problems like asthma, bronchitis, allergies – they respond really well when therapy is planned according to prakriti and dosha balance.
I also work a lot with womens health esp during menopause, where symptoms can range from hot flushes to mood swings and sleep issues. Ayurveda has gentle methods to help restore hormonal balance without heavy medications, and I use a mix of classical formulations, diet guidance and daily routine changes.
Mental health is another part I keep as priority, many patients deal with stress, anxiety or low mood, and I try combining Ayurveda therapy with counselling, pranayama and lifestyle modifcations. For me each case is unique, no one-size-fit approach. My focus stays on root-cause healing, not just patching symptoms. The aim is always long-term balance for body and mind, so that patients feel steady wellness not only for now but in the future too. |
Achievements: | I am a BAMS graduate and that degree gave me a solid ground in classical Ayurveda, panchakarma and all around patient care.. During study and practice I learned how to link traditional methods with modern diagnositc tools, which make my treatment more practical and effective. This background help me manage chronic illness like diabetes, arthritis or gastric problems along with lifestyle disorders. For me the achievement is not just a certificate but using that knowlege in real patient care everyday. |
I am an Ayurvedic practitioner with about 3 yrs clinical exp, still learning every day but already seen how powerful this science can be when applied with patience and care. In these years I worked with a wide mix of patients, many came with long standing gastric troubles, breathing issues, menopausal discomforts or stress and anxiety that was affecting their daily life. What I try to do always is to see beyond just the symptom and figure out the imbalance underneath, that’s where Ayurveda really shines because it allows me to tailor each plan exactly to the person not just the disease. Most of my daily work is around digestion cases, people struggling with hyperacidity, indigestion, IBS type problems or just overall weak gut. I use classical herbs, diet plans, and sometimes Panchakarma if the condition need deep cleansing. Same with respiratory illness like asthma, allergies, bronchitis, these respond very well when you focus on clearing ama and supporting the system with right lifestyle. I also dedicate part of my practice to women in menopausal transition. Many patients feel unheard in this phase, but Ayurveda offers gentle and effective support for the physical changes plus the emotional turbulence that come with it. And mental health in general has become something I pay close attention to – anxiety, stress, mood swings – I combine Ayurvedic therapies, counseling, yoga-breathing, diet, it works better when all these are together. Every consultation I take starts with prakriti and rogi pariksha, because no two patients are same. Some need more dietary correction, some need Panchakarma, others need emotional support alongside herbs. My aim is always long term balance and wellness, not quick fix. When I see a patient walking out with lighter body, calmer mind, better sleep, I know I am on the right track. Ayurveda is not just treatment for me but a way to guide people back to their own healing power. And that keeps me committed day after day.
