Dr. Shraddha Mahamulkar - Khase
Experience: | 12 years |
Education: | Maharasthra University of Health Sciences |
Academic degree: | Doctor of Medicine in Ayurveda |
Area of specialization: | I am mainly focused on treating chronic skin issues through Ayurveda, things like psoriasis, eczema, recurring rashes and other inflamation type skin problems that keep troubling patients for years. My method isn’t just about external creams or quick relief, I go deeper with detoxification therapies, internal herbal medicines, and correcting diet patterns that often hidden behind the flare ups. I also give lot of attention to lifestyle habits, sleep, stress and routine, since those small things actually change how skin heals.
Along with dermatology, I work closely in women’s health. I see many cases of menstrual irregularities, PCOD, infertility and hormonal disbalance that impact both body and mind. My focus here is using classical Ayurvedic therapies—like Panchakarma cleansing, rasayana formulations, and specific diet guidance—to slowly restore natural rhythm of hormones and support reproductive health. Each case is unique, some need intensive detox first, others more gentle regulation, so I plan accordingly.
I keep my approach very personalized, studying prakriti and vikriti before setting a protocol. For some it may be internal medicines, others may benefit more from basti or nasya, or even simple food and lifestyle corrections that make a big diffrence. My goal stays clear—address the root cause, bring balance back, and help patients find long term relief without over reliance on temporary fixes. |
Achievements: | I am proud that I completed both my graduation and post graduation in Ayurveda from a govt college, and managed to earn distinction in both degrees. That academic base was not just about marks, it gave me the clarity to read the classical texts with more depth and to see how those principles apply to patients I meet every day. It also shaped my confidence in handling complex clinical situations with accuracy. This training keep pushing me to deliver authentic, evidence based care that stays true to Ayurveda’s roots but also practical for modern health needs. |
I am an Ayurvedic physician with more than 10 years in clinical practice, right now working as Director at Shree Vishwa Vandit Ayurveda Clinic & Kerala Panchakarma Centre. My path in Ayurveda started early with a strong interest in traditional healing, and over the years I kept shaping my practice around classical principles while also thinking how they fit with todays health needs. At my center, the core is authentic Kerala-style Panchakarma. I do therapies like Abhyanga, Njavarakizhi, Pizhichil, Vasti, Nasya, Shirodhara and more, each matched with the patient’s prakriti and current vikriti. Most of my work revolve around chronic conditions – joint and spine pain, digestive distubances, skin issues like psoriasis or eczema, hormonal disorders including menstrual and thyroid problems, and the wide category of lifestyle diseases like stress, hypertension or metabolic imbalance. I always remind myself that these are not just physical symptoms, they impact emotions and mental clarity too, so the treatment has to see the whole picture. My way of working usually start with detailed Ayurvedic assessment – dosha analysis, prakriti check, patient history – and from that I create a protocol. Sometimes it’s herbal medicines, sometimes Panchakarma detox, diet restructuring, or lifestyle advice. Often it’s all combined, because Ayurveda is rarely one single thing. The aim is not a quick relief, though relief is important, but long-term wellness that can sustain without over-dependncy on medicine. As Director, I feel a strong duty to keep high standards – authentic formulations, clean safe procedures, patient comfort, and clear communication. I keep learning and adapting too, making Ayurveda practical and approachable for modern people, while keeping the essence pure. For me, healing is not just a job but something I carry with responsibility, a chance to bring balance back into lives in a natural way. That’s the commitment I hold everyday in my practice.
