Academic degree:
Doctor of Medicine in Ayurveda
Area of specialization:
I am primarily focused in Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine), and most of my daily work revolves around handling complex and long-term lifestyle disorders that dont always respond quickly. I spend a lot of time managing rheumatology and joint issues like Amavata (Rheumatoid Arthritis) and Sandhigata Vata (Osteoarthritis), where pain and stiffness can really distrub normal life, and I try to approach these cases in a steady, patient-specific way. I am also working closely with Gastrointestinal problems such as Grahani (Malabsorption/IBS), which I see quite often and sometimes takes more patience than expected. Another area I stay engaged in is Integrative Cardiology, applying Ayurvedic understanding of Hridroga along with modern tools like ECG interpretation, even when cases feels slightly complicated at first. Alongside this, I am trained in emergency medical protocals including Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and ICU specialist care, which keeps me alert and responisve during urgent situations.
Achievements:
I am deeply into acadamia work, creating teaching material and giving guest lectuers to post-graduate studnets, mostly on Kayachikitsa basics and even life saving procedres like BLS/CPR. I also spend lot of time writing clinical monogrphs that integrat Ayurvedic and allopathic ideas together, trying to make sense of severe disorders and modern helthcare in a more united way!!

I am Prof. Vd. Vaibhav Kurkute, MD in Kayachikitsa and working as an Ayurveda Specialist and Consultant (Reg No: I-92638 A), and most days my work revolve around understanding patients in a deeper way, not just surface symptoms. I usually try to bring together ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with modern medical science, because I feel both have value when used carefully, even if sometimes it takes extra effort to balance them corectly. In my clinical practice, I focus strongly on finding the real root cause of disease, not only managing what is visible. For that, I depend on classical Ayurvedic diagnositc methods like Naadi Parikshan (pulse diagnosis) along with modern observations, and from there I build personalized and integrative treatment plans that fit the individual person, not just the condition alone. Sometimes this process feel slow, but I believe it leads to more stable healing in long run. My main interest is in internal medicine, specially where chronic or complex health concerns require steady attention and patience. I try to guide patients in a way that they understand their own body better, because healing is not only medicines, it also involve lifestyle choices and awareness, even small ones that look unimportant at first. I stay dedicated to helping patients move toward optimal health and long-term wellness, while keeping Ayurveda practical and relevent to modern life. There are moments when cases get challenging, yet that is also where careful thinking and classical knowledge becomes most useful, and I continue refining my approach with every patient I meet , learning something new each time.
