Doctor of Medicine in Ayurveda
Area of specialization:
I am mostly focused on skin, gut, breathing troubles & auto-immune stuff—that’s where I see Ayurveda doing its deepest work. I treat things like eczema flares, recurring acne, hyperacidity, IBS-type patterns, asthma (esp seasonal spikes), and even rheumatoid arthritis—where modern meds kinda work but don’t *fix* much longterm. I don’t do just herbs randomly—I go back to classics, tailor formulas, and when needed, plan full Panchakarma detox, but only when body is ready. I really don’t believe in forcing eliminations too early. Most ppl are surprised how simple diet shifts + daily routine tweaks already start healing. I also look for Dosha imbalance behind every chronic issue... that’s where real relief begins tbh. I try to balance being traditional with being real—like not everything fits textbook, but we don’t need to abandon the core principles either. My goal? Restore the rhythm inside. Without shortcuts, without overwhelm.
Achievements:
I am someone who kinda gets a lil obsessed when it comes to learning deep—during my postgrad I was lucky (and maybe stubborn) enough to win the Gold Medal for academic performance. Still feels surreal honestly. Also got 2nd place in the Ayurved Parva composition thing—writing about Ayurveda in a way that’s both rooted and expressive, that’s my zone. I keep going back to that mix—rigor + insight + a little creativity—it shapes how I see patients, how I explain things, maybe even how I heal.

I am trained in both BAMS and MD Ayurveda from Govt Ayurveda College in Maharashtra—where the days were honestly intense but also shaped everything I know abt treating from the roots. My focus areas are a bit varied, but they connect in their chronicity—like those persistent skin issues (acne, eczema, pigmentation), autoimmunity like Rheumatoid Arthritis, digestion mess-ups (hyperacidity, gas, slow metabolism), and yeah, hair & scalp probs—hair fall, dandruff, that kind of recurring stuff that doesn't go away with just shampoos or short detoxes. In clinic, I work a lot with classical tools like Nadi Pariksha & dosha mapping. Sounds simple, but it’s what lets me see what’s really not moving inside, what’s overactive, what needs calming. Joint disorders are frequent in my OPD—knee pain, swelling, stiffness, both inflammatory and wear-tear type—and I usually use a combo of internal herbs + external snehana or lepa depending on how flared up the patient is. Respiratory complaints too—like chronic sinus, sneezing streaks, seasonal coughs—I keep going back to classical rasayanas and diet reset instead of suppressants. Over time, what I noticed is, most people come when their health has become a cycle—bad sleep, bad gut, more symptoms. That’s where Ayurved shines, if we let it. I work a lot with Dinacharya principles, food discipline (not just restrictions), and simple stress resets people can actually stick with, not just aspirational stuff. My end goal? Not just “treat” eczema or acidity or hair fall, but help someone see *why* it showed up and how to not live in fear of its return. That’s where longterm healing starts. I don’t rush—it’s always case-by-case, slow sometimes, but layered, real, and body-specific.
