Dr. Rahul Acharya
Experience: | 15 years |
Education: | Maharashtra University Of Health Sciences |
Academic degree: | Master of Surgery in Ayurveda |
Area of specialization: | I am mostly working with general health cases, like everyday fevers, seasonal issues, fatigue, headaches, digestion stuff... you know, the regular things that people just try to ignore until it gets too much. But over time, I kinda leaned more into Ayurvedic medicine and now that’s what guides most of what I do. I don’t like to just suppress symptoms with quick fixes. I try to figure out why someone’s falling sick again and again—what’s off in their lifestyle, what dosha’s flaring, or if something deeper’s going on.
Panchkarma is something I really started focusing on later, after I saw how many people were just... carrying so much imbalance inside. Whether it’s toxins from stress or diet or leftover side-effects from other meds, that stuff piles up. Panchkarma gives me a proper way to clean the system, but carefully—each plan I do depends on what suits the patient, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
I do mix general and Ayurvedic treatments where needed, but even if it's just a simple cold or skin rash, I think there's always something deeper behind it. Like, I won’t just hand you a churnam or syrup and call it a day. I ask a lot. Sometimes too much maybe, haha. But I like knowing the full picture—sleep, food, emotions, all that.
If you're looking for someone who blends general medicine with authentic Ayurvedic insight and proper detox protocols like basti, virechan etc., I think I can help. Not into shortcuts, but yeah—long-term balance? That’s the goal. |
Achievements: | I am not the kind of doctor who just gives meds n sends patients out the door. Like for me, the real thing—the only thing that really matters—is if my patients *actually* feel better. That’s kinda always been my thing. I keep checking in even after treatment’s done, I tweak stuff if somethin’s not working right, sometimes I dig way deeper than expected—diet, routine, even stress stuff people didn’t think mattered much.
Their recovery, their wellbeing... that's the only achievement I really care about tbh. |
I am working in the field of Ayurved since 15 yrs now, and honestly, the more I see patients, the more I feel like I’m still learning. Each case teaches u something new—especially when they don’t fit into any textbook pattern. My main strength is classical Ayurvedic diagnosis & choosing the right chikitsa based on prakriti, vikriti, dosha condition etc. I rely on the core texts, but I also like to observe how those principles apply in real lives, with real ppl, not ideal ones. In the last 8 yrs, Panchkarma has kinda become my second home. I didn’t plan that earlier, it just grew naturally as more of my patients needed deeper detox. And trust me, when done right, panchkarma doesn’t just help in the disease—it transforms energy, clarity, all that. I focus a lot on tailoring each plan, like no 2 basti treatments I do are exactly same. What works for one doesn’t always suit another—even if symptoms look similar on surface. Most of my work revolves around chronic conditions that modern meds usually manage but don’t fully resolve. I end up seeing a lot of joint-related issues, fatigue syndromes, hormonal imbalances & skin disorders that just keep coming back otherwise. And yeah, infertility cases too—I take a lot of time with those, because it needs patience from both ends honestly. I don’t claim magic or gurantee, that’s not how Ayurveda works anyway. It takes time & discipline from the patient’s side too. But I do stay available throughout the journey, adjusting things, explaining why we’re doing what, and keeping it all very grounded. I believe care shld feel steady not flashy. If you're looking for someone who’ll throw quick relief without looking deeper—might not be me. But if ur ready to explore actual root healing (and stick with it a bit), I’m here to help figure it out.
