Dr. Biplab Das
Experience: | 25 years |
Education: | J.B. Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital |
Academic degree: | Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery |
Area of specialization: | I am mainly working in pain managment n Panchakarma therapy, where I try to mix classical ayurvedic wisdom with practical, day to day care. Most people come with long standing backache, cervical or lumbar spondylosis, sciatica, arthritis, joint stiffnes and sometimes just general body pain after years of strain. I focus on Panchakarma like Basti, Abhyanga, Patra pinda sweda, Nasya.. depends on what suits the patient’s dosha n condition. For me, the main thing is not only to cut the pain for few days but to search out where it actualy start — root cause is always the key in ayurveda. Herbal medicines, detox plans, diet correction, lifestyle tweaks… all are part of it. Some cases take time, some respond faster, but I keep seeing that with right balance the mobility improves, inflammation go down, patients feel more energy. My goal is always to make the relief long term, not just patch work, and help people move free again without depending only on painkillers. |
Achievements: | I am working earlier as Regional Healthcare Adviser with Dabur India Ltd, where I got few awards for ayurvedic promotion, field excellece n also for some community health outreach ideas that clicked well. Honestly those recognitions felt nice but more imp was seeing how Ayurveda can move out of clinic walls and reach people directly. It showed me that education, engagement, even small effort in field work can create bigger impact than only treatment in chamber. |
I am working in ayurveda practice for more than 15 yrs now, and honestly that time taught me way more than any textbook could. In clinic i see how small shifts in diet, sleep, even daily routine can change the whole health story of a person. I keep focusing on chronic cases.. lifestyle disorders, digestion issues, stress driven conditions.. where patience n careful planning make all the difference. My approach is always about prakriti & vikriti, meaning i don’t give same plan to two people even if disease look similar, cause their body & mind background is diff. So i try to use herbs, panchakarma, food advise and lifestyle changes in a mix that feel practical and not overwhelming. At the same time i spent 9 yrs in medico-marketing n pharma brand promotions, working with big multinational companies. That side of journey was also eye-opening.. i learned how health info travels, how product strategies are made, and how evidence-based ayurvedic & wellness products can be presented to reach more people. I was part of teams that designed campaigns, trained doctors, made product launches, and honestly it helped me to see ayurveda not just as old tradition but as something that can be communicated in modern healthcare lanaguage too. Sometimes i still think about those projects when i explain treatments to patients, cause it made me better in putting complex ideas in simpler words. This blend of clinical practice & corporate experience makes me quite unique i guess. I can treat patient on personal level but also understand the bigger industry perspective. Over the yrs i realized i love bridging the gap – like helping people accept ayurveda alongside modern medicine, or guiding companies to present ayurveda in credible ways. I focus strongly on patient education, preventive health, and ethical practice, cause without trust no treatment truly works. My goal stays same – provide care that is holistic, research-backed, and at the same time easy for people to follow in daily life.
