Dr Dinesh Prajapat
Experience: | 2 years |
Education: | Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences And Ayush University of Chhattisgarh. |
Academic degree: | Doctor of Medicine in Ayurveda |
Area of specialization: | I am mostly focused on lifestyle diseases, like diabetes, obesity, and all those psychosomatic things people dont really talk much about but they matter, trust me. I also treat patients who are immunocompromised, sometimes that gets tricky because every body reacts different. Arthritis is another common thing I see, and yeah, piles too, dont laugh, they can be really annoying!!
My approach is usualy holistic, try to combine diet guidance, some lifestyle tweaks and, of course, ayurvedic medicine where needed, though sometimes patients resist or forget stuff, which can slow progress. I like to see patterns in daily routines, small habits make big difference over time i think. Sometimes results are fast, sometimes slow, cant guarantee exact timeline, but follow up is important, i insist on that.
I also try to connect with patients, ask questions that may feel obvious but often are overlooked. |
Achievements: | I am BAMS graduate from a govt institution, kind of proud that I managed AIR 853 in the PG entrance exam, though some days I still wonder if I could have done better. Worked as JR in a Govt ayurved hospital, which was tiring!! lots of patients, sometimes little sleep, but learnt a ton. The day to day cases really shaped how I think about treatment, diet stuff and how to actually talk with patients, not just prescribe. Not perfect yet, still learning. |
I am an Ayurvedic physician, working in both Ayurvedic and allopathic settings, which sometimes makes things a bit tricky cause approaches can differ a lot. I completed my BAMS from Government Ayurvedic College, Raipur, and then did internship training and about a year of practical experience under a well-known physician in Durg, Chhattisgarh. Right now, I am pursuing MD (Ayurveda) from Government Ayurved College & Hospital, Raipur, trying to understand deeper aspects of treatment. I usually focus on personalized care, combining Ayurvedic medicines, diet, lifestyle guidances, and preventive approaches. Sometimes people expect quick fixes, which I know is not always possible, but I try to guide them with what’s practical and possible. I look at each patient differently sometimes two people with same symptoms can need quite different plans, and I pay attention to that. I do follow-ups, but not always perfectly on schedule, depends on workload and patients’ availability. I try to balance traditional protocols with modern understanding, but occasionally I question if the methods are enough. Overall, my approach is holistic, I combine what I learned academically with real-life observations, and try to make treatment doable in daily life, which isn’t always easy, but it’s rewarding when small improvements show up. I do hope to keep improving, cause medicine is never really finished learning, and Ayurveda is vast, sometimes overwhelming, but I like the challenge.
