I am an Ayurvedic doctor mainly working on chronic and lifestyle issues – the kind that don’t really go away with just a quick pill. Skin problems like eczema, psoriasis, acne, those are pretty common in my practice, but I also deal a lot with arthritis, neck and back pains that make daily work harder than it should be. Sometimes patients come for migraines or asthma, sometimes for indigestion, acidity or just that annoying bloating that never seems to settle. I don’t just treat the symptoms – I look for the root cause, checking diet, habits, even small routine patterns that they think are nothing but actually matter. Most of my plans mix herbal medicines, food guidance, and lifestyle corrections. Some cases need a deeper detox, some just need steady changes. I like keeping it practical – something they can actually follow instead of big lists they forget after a week.
Achievements:
I am kinda glad to be called a pillar of SWASI, cause it’s not just a title for me.. it means years of real work with people, patients, and the team there. I’ve been part of shaping its growth, sticking to the values of Ayurveda while still making it fit for today’s needs. My role is not only about treatments but also keeping the spirit of traditional healing alive, working with others who share the same vision and making sure it actually reaches those who need it most.

I am an Ayurvedic doctor with more than 8 years in clinical practice, working from Madurai and honestly every day feels different. I meet people with all sorts of health troubles – from chronic skin rashes that keep coming back, to hormonal ups and downs, digestive complaints that drag for years, and even those seasonal cold-cough fevers that seem small but keep affecting daily life. I don’t just hand over a generic prescription; I spend time figuring out their Prakriti, which is basically their natural constitution, and the Vikriti, the imbalance that’s happening right now. Sometimes it takes longer than the patient expect, but I think getting that right makes the whole treatment work better. My approach mix herbal medicines, Panchakarma detox when it’s needed, diet changes, and small but important lifestyle tweaks. For women, I focus a lot on PCOD, irregular cycles, post delivery care and even Suvarnaprashan for kids which parents really appreciate for immunity. Over the years, I’ve seen improvements in people with joint pains, diabetes, hypertension, skin issues like eczema, and stubborn digestive troubles. But Ayurveda for me isn’t just about the body – I try to look at how stress, habits, and mindset is also part of why someone is unwell. That’s why I keep the consultations open for discussion, not rushed. Practicing in Madurai has been special because the community here is diverse – some know Ayurveda deeply, others are new to it – and I like bridging that gap. I still follow the classical principles, but I also make sure it fits into their daily routine so it’s realistic and not just theory on paper.
