Experience: | 5 years |
Education: | Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College, Chennai |
Academic degree: | Doctor of Medicine in Ayurveda |
Area of specialization: | I am mainly working with bone n joint conditions—like arthritis, back pain, frozen shoulder, all those musculoskeletal issues where ppl feel stuck or in pain for weeks, months even. I usually start with looking how deep the inflammation or degeneration has gone—some cases need simple herbal anti-vata support, but others might call for full panchakarma line of management. Depends honestly. Sometimes it's stiffness that comes n goes with season, sometimes there's swelling, heat, that points to a different kind of imbalance.
I also work closely on ano-rectal problems like piles, fissure or fistula. These aren’t just local things—they’re connected to digestion, agni, stress too. I usually suggest ksharasutra or other para-surgical methods where needed but always backed with internal medicines and diet work.
Oh, and chronic skin stuff—eczema, psoriasis types—I handle that too, with detox first usually, then rasayana later. Every plan I give is tailored. Like, no one-size here. Ayurveda lets us go that detailed, which is what I really like about it!! |
Achievements: | I am mostly just focused on what helps the patient feel better, like really better—not just symptom-wise but overall. I mean ya, outcomes matter, but if someone leaves feeling calmer, lighter, or sleeps better finally—that counts huge too. My biggest achievemnt? When patients start trusting their body again. That shift—it's quiet but powerful. Sometimes it’s after chronic illness, or years of wrong meds, but if they smile n say "I'm feeling normal again"...that's the win for me. |
I am practicing Ayurveda for 5 years now, and honestly each year has added some new angle to how I see patients n healing overall. I started with general practice—basic digestion issues, fever, skin rash, that sort of thing—but slowly leaned more into women's health too. Menstrual stuff, PCOS, fertility troubles, even menopause care… those are now a big part of my everyday work. Most ppl come in with long-standing issues, tried other options, didn’t work much. That’s where Ayurveda really fits, I feel. I usually go pretty deep with case history. Not just "what's the problem" but also—when did it start, what changed in life back then, food patterns, stress triggers, like that. Diagnosis isn’t just physical, it’s more like a whole map of how the body n mind shifted out of sync. I focus a lot on gut health, sleep cycle, prakruti balance. That’s how I plan herbal meds or rasayana therapies. I also work with skin issues—acne, pigmentation, fungal infections—mainly using herbal lepas, diet tweaks, and detox when really needed. And I’m trained to handle minor procedures too, like uttarbasti, cuT insertion, local fomentations etc. In labour room I’ve done normal deliveries independently... those experiences really shaped how I see a woman’s journey in all stages. I'm not into overloading with pills—usually it's 3–4 things max, targeted and gentle. And I always explain the why. When people *understand* their plan, they follow better, heal better. I keep followups tight the first month to see what’s working or not. Adjusting treatment is part of the process. Whether it's a hormonal problem or something simple like constipation, I keep the core idea same—get to root cause, support the system, and let the body lead. I still learn every day from cases. Ayurveda’s old, yeah, but the way it applies today is constantly shifting. I just try to keep pace and stay real with it.
