Doctor information
Experience:
5 years
Education:
Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences
Academic degree:
Doctor of Medicine in Ayurveda
Area of specialization:
I am focused on sustainable healing through Ayurveda, and honestly I feel health improves better when treatment become part of daily life instead of feeling temporary or difficult to follow. My approach mainly includes Ayurvedic guidance, nutrition support and healthy lifestyle practices tailored to individual needs, because every person’s body respond little differntly and same path may not work for everyone. I usually try to understand food habits, routine, body pattern and overall lifestyle before guiding changes, since small things often affect recovery more than people realise. Sometimes health concerns slowly build over years, and that is why I belive consistancy and simple practical habits matter alot, even if results take little time. A big part of my focus stays on helping patients through balanced nutrition, personalised wellness guidance and Ayurvedic lifestyle correction, keeping healing realistic and sustainable. I try to make health plans feel manageable, not overwhelming,, because better wellness often grows slowly through understanding, right habits and patient-specific care!!
Achievements:
I am proud that during my academic journey, I became the topper in my M.D., and honestly that achievement came with alot of hard work, discipline and long hours of learning. I also had the opportunity to publish multiple articles during both my Graduation and Post Graduation, because academic writing and research always kept me curious about deeper medical understanding. Sharing knowledge through research somehow made me more focused on learning properly,, and I still feel there is always something new to explore in this field!!

I am Dr. Laxmikanthi V Akasapu, an Ayurveda physician with a strong interest in holistic wellness, Ayurvedic medicine and patient-centered care, and over time I have realised that healing feels more complete when treatment is planned according to person’s individual needs, not only symptoms. I hold a BAMS and MD in Ayurveda with specialization in Rasa Shastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, and this field honestly helped me understand Ayurveda in much deeper way, specially the role of formulations and balanced healing approach. My experience includes working with postpartum mothers, supporting women through recovery phase where body often goes through many physical and metabolic changes together. I usually focus on women’s recovery, weight management, metabolic disorders and personalised diet & lifestyle modifications, because even small changes in routine and food habits can slowly create meaningful differnce over time. I belive healthcare should feel natural, practical and supportive, not confusing or overwhelming. My approach is centered around understanding person’s condition properly and helping them through Ayurvedic guidance, nutrition awareness and lifestyle correction in way that feels realistic for everyday life. Sometimes recovery take patience, specially when body is trying to regain balance, but consistancy often matter more than quick fixes. For me, patient care also means listening carefully and understanding what someone is going through, because no two people respond exactly same way. I try to keep consultations personalised and wellness focused,, helping patients move toward better health through balanced and sustainable Ayurvedic care!!
