Area of specialization: | I am working mainly in Shalakya Tantra – that’s the Ayurvedic branch where we deal with Eye and ENT problems, and honestly it’s one of those areas where small changes can bring huge difference. My work covers eye diseases, vision troubles, ear infections, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, throat irritation and so on. Some cases are simple, like seasonal allergy flares… others are stubborn and need patient, steady work.
Diagnosis isn’t just about naming the disease for me – I try to understand why it happend, what patterns in lifestyle or health triggered it. From there, I plan treatment with both Shamana (palliative) and Shodhana (detox) approaches. Netra Tarpana for nourishing the eyes, Nasya for nasal and sinus issues, and other Shalakya methods that are very specific to the problem – all these are part of the toolkit.
Every person is different. That means one patient’s “cure” can be another’s temporary relief if we don’t adapt. I take time to customise each plan, sometimes it’s herbs, sometimes therapies, sometimes both, and yes, a bit of patient homework too. My aim is to help people get genuine relief, not just mask the symptoms for a while… and to make sure their eyes, ears, nose, throat actually stay healthier for long term. |
Achievements: | I am kinda proud that I secured 9th rank in my univ exams – not just for the number but for what it took to get there.. long nights, piles of notes, re-reading those Ayurvedic classics till the lines almost blur. It gave me a solid grounding in the principles and practice of Ayurveda, and honestly made me more careful with every clinical decision I take now. That rank wasn’t the end… it sort of pushed me into this path of always learning, checking, re-checking… making sure what I offer to my patients is precise, evidence-based, and actually works in real life, not just on paper. |
I am a graduate in BAMS and MD Ayurveda from Government Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Bengaluru – a place that really shaped my way of looking at health and disease. Those years were not just about reading classical Ayurvedic texts but also handling real patients, real problems, and learning how theory meets the ground. The exposure to both traditional Ayurvedic wisdom and modern diagnostic methods gave me a balance I rely on every single day in practice. During my training, I worked on a variety of clinical cases – some straightforward, some so complex they made me rethink my own approach. That’s where I understood the depth of Shamana (palliative care) and Shodhana (detox therapies), and how combining them with simple but powerful lifestyle changes can shift a patient’s health completely. I’m not much into chasing symptoms away for a while… I focus on why they’re there in the first place. Every patient comes with their own story, and I try to make treatment plans that actually fit their life, not just look good on paper. Sometimes it’s about herbs and diet, sometimes more about guiding them to break small habits that slowly damage health. The aim is always authentic and ethical Ayurveda – nothing diluted – with long-term wellness in mind. I also believe strongly in teaching patients about preventive health, because the best treatment is the one you don’t need later. And even now, I keep studying, refining, and learning… because the more I know, the more I realise there’s always more to understand in this field. That’s what keeps my work alive.
