Dr. Vijay Singh Rathod
Experience: | 4 years |
Education: | Mansarovar Ayurvedic Medical College |
Academic degree: | Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery |
Area of specialization: | I am mainly working with musculoskeletal issues… the kind that makes everyday movement a problem. Cervical pain that shoots down the arm, lower back lumbar pain that won’t settle, or stiff aching joints – I use a mix of Panchakarma, herbal medicines, and lifestyle shifts to actually fix the root, not just dull the pain. Skin care is another big part – from simple acne to stubborn psoriasis, treating inside-out. For kidney stones I focus on herbal dissolution and prevention, and yes respiratory allergies like sinusitis too, where I clear blocked channels & boost immunity. I also handle women’s concerns – menstrual irregularity, cramps, menopause changes – and men’s reproductive health. Healthy weight gain is a thing I pay attention to as well… not just “eat more”, but improving digestion, Agni and nutrient absorption. My treatments are always personalised, keeping prakriti and vikriti in mind, coz no two patients are ever really same. |
Achievements: | I am trained and certified in leech therapy (Jalaukavacharana) which is one of those old Ayurvedic parasurgical methods that still works amazingly for things like chronic pain, some stubborn skin issues and venous probelms too. This skill lets me treat cases where other methods don’t do much, and its all natural n safe when done right. Over time, I learnt how to make it more result-focusd while keeping patients comfy through the whole process. |
I am working in ayurveda with focus on conditions people face in day to day life but also those stubborn ones that just don’t go away easy. Skin care is one big area – whether its chronic dryness, pimples, eczema or stubborn psoriasis, I try to get into the root imbalance not just apply something and hope. Same way with joint pain… knee, shoulder, even those dull aches in winter – and cervical or lumber pain that make simple movements hard. For kidney stones I follow a mix of herbal dissolution, diet shifts and flushing therapies, while also keeping patient comfortable during process. Female health issues like irregular cycles, painful periods or menopause troubles are approached with a combination of hormonal balancing herbs, detox and nutrition adjustments. Male related concerns – low stamina, reproductive problems or even stress-linked weakness – are handled with same personal care. Allergies, sinusitis, seasonal sneezing, these are often linked to immunity and digestion, so I work on both together. Weight gain… sometimes people think it’s just about eating less, but in Ayurveda it’s also about sluggish metabolism, low Agni. Correcting that with herbs, Panchakarma, and right daily routine can make a big difference. My approach is always individualised, based on the patient’s prakriti and vikriti – no generic same-for-all plan. It’s about long-term balance, not just temporary fixes, and using authentic Ayurvedic principles in a way that fits modern living without losing the depth of tradition.
