Dr. Nidhi Sharma
Experience: | 6 years |
Education: | Shri Dhanwantary Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Chandigarh and Parul University, Vadodara |
Academic degree: | Master of Surgery in Ayurveda |
Area of specialization: | I am specialized in Stree Roga & Prasuti Tantra, which in simple words means I work on women’s health in a way that blends the classical Ayurvedic wisdom with what each woman actually needs in real life. My work goes through all stages… from teenage menstrual troubles, fertility issues, pregnancy care, post delivery recovery to the challenges of menopause. I focus a lot on conditions like dysmennorhea, PCOS, infertility & those mood-shifting menopausal symptoms that can really affect daily life. In my approach, its never just about treating the disease, it’s also about restoring balance—whether that’s with herbal formulations, panchakarma, diet corrections or lifestyle tweaks. I make sure each plan is matched to the patient’s prakruti & health history, cause no two cases are ever same. Over time I’ve seen that when women get the right Ayurvedic support, their body adapts naturally and they start feeling more stable, more in control of their own health. |
Achievements: | I am quite involved in both clinical work n academic stuff, always trying to keep learning and share what I know. Till 2024, I’ve presented 11 research papers in different national & internationl seminars – some were really intense sessions where we dug deep into women’s health topics. One of the highlights was getting appreciation from Dr B.S. Prasad (President, Board of Ayurveda, NCISM) for completing a sponsored clinical research on Menocramp Tablet for primary dysmenorrhea, which was honestly a big effort but worth it. Also on the 6th Ayurveda Day, the Ayurveda Dept in Jhunjhunu honored me with a memento for being a subject speaker on “Ayurveda for Poshan”. Moments like that remind me why this work matters. |
I am Dr. Nidhi Sharma, BAMS, M.S. (Ayu), with post grad in Prasuti Tantra Evum Stree Roga from Parul Institute of Ayurved, Parul University Vadodara… my Ayurvedic journey actually started way back with BAMS from Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College, Chandigarh, where I got a solid base in classical texts n clinical skills. Right now I work as Medical Officer in OBGY at Sharma Hospital of Ayurveda, my own private practice, where focus is on restoring women’s health naturally—be it menstrual problems, pregnancy support, or menopause care. I mix classical therapies with lifestyle n diet corrections, because every woman’s prakriti & health story is different. Over years I presented 8 research papers on women’s health in different forums, plus I keep attending natl & intl seminars and webinars to keep my work updated. On 4 April 2022, got appreciation from Dr. B.S. Prasad, President, Board of Ayurveda (NCISM), for a sponsored clinical research on Menocramp Tablet in primary dysmenorrhea—it was rewarding to see the results match the classical understanding. Also received a memento on 6th Ayurveda Day from Dept. of Ayurveda Jhunjhunu, where I was invited as subject expert for “Ayurveda for Poshan”. My main interest is in conditions like PCOS, dysmenorrhea, infertility, menopausal syndrom, pregnancy related issues, always aiming for safe, sustainable, root-cause care. I want Ayurvedic women’s healthcare to feel accessible & effective… not like some distant theory but as a living, practical solution for every woman who seeks balance.
