Experience:
3 years
Education:
Parul University
Academic degree:
Master of Surgery in Ayurveda
Area of specialization:
I am a Proctologist and Kshar Sutra specialist, working mainly with conditions like piles, fissures, fistulas & pilonidal sinus. My focus is on blending classical Ayurvedic methods with modern surgical options – each case is a bit different so I don’t believe in one-size fits all. The Kshar Sutra procedure is one area I really go deep into, it’s a para-surgical therapy that’s stood the test of time, especially for complicated fistulas where recurrence can be a big headache. On the other side, I also use advanced laser procedures… they’re precise, less invasive and usually mean shorter downtime for the patient. For me, patient comfort isn’t just about less pain after surgery but also making sure they understand what’s happening at each stage, no hidden surprises. I try to keep treatments evidence-based, aiming for long-term relief rather than quick but temporary fixes. Every patient’s body & recovery pace is different, and I keep that in mind before deciding the plan.
Achievements:
I am proud to say I got a Gold Medal in Surgery during my academics, which still feels kinda unreal sometimes. Also recieved the Best Consultation Award – that one means a lot cause it’s about how patients actually feel in my care, not just marks on paper. I’m also a certified laser surgeon, trained in advanced minimally invasive stuff for anorectal problems… makes procedures safer, recovery faster & the cuts (literally) cleaner. All this keeps me pushing for better care everyday.

I am working as a Consultant Surgeon, Coloproctologist and Laser Specialist at Galaxy Multispeciality Hospital in Vadodara, Gujarat.. most of my day revolves around diagnosing and treating anorectal conditions like piles, fissures, fistulas, and pilonidal sinus. I tend to focus more on minimally invasive work – especially advanced laser surgeries – because they usually mean less pain, smaller wounds and patients get back to life faster. That part always feels satisfying. I try to be as precise as possible in diagnosis, since a wrong or half diagnosis can mess up treatment completely. Patient education is a big deal for me too, explaining the why & how behind each step, even if it takes extra time. Over the years I’ve seen that early surgery, done with the right technique, can totally change someone’s quality of life. Sadly many people wait too long due to embarrassment or fear of “big” surgery. Working with the hospital’s multi-disciplinary team makes pre and post-op care a lot smoother, we all keep tabs on each stage so recovery isn’t just left to chance. I’m especially into spreading awareness about colorectal health – feels like a topic we avoid talking about until it’s too late. Whether it’s a small case or a tricky one with multiple issues, I stick to evidence based and ethical practice, aiming for long term relief instead of just quick fixes.
