Dr. Nisarg Pathak
Experience: | 3 years |
Education: | Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences |
Academic degree: | Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery |
Area of specialization: | I am into Ayurvedic proctology mostly, and yeah, over the last few years, done 150+ Ksharasutra procedures — mainly for piles and fistula cases that were either recurring or just didn’t respond well to other stuff. It’s not a quick fix, but honestly? It works. It’s minimally invasive, doesn’t throw people off their daily life too much, and they’re actually surprised it’s Ayurveda doing all that. I track everything closely — the pain level, healing speed, how they respond. No copy-paste treatment.
I also work on wound care — the really hard ones. Around 50+ tough diabetic wounds I’ve managed now using classical herbal lepa and oil-based dressings. Healing takes time but when it works, it really works. And I always keep tissue regeneration and dosha balance both in mind, not just the bandaging part.
Pain management is another big part of what I do. 500+ patients dealing with chronic body pain, stiffness, spine issues — most of ‘em were stuck on painkillers. We go the Panchakarma route, throw in Marma therapy where it fits, tweak diets and habits, and honestly I’ve seen people who were hopeless start moving better again. It’s slow at first. But it lasts.
Everything I do is centered around keeping it drug-free, safe and doshically aligned, if that makes sense. My job’s to help them feel human again — like not just patching symptoms but actually restoring that daily ease people forget they deserve. |
Achievements: | I am a graduate from Rajiv Gandhi Univrsity of Health Science, Bengaluru & completed my PG from Mahagujarat Univ, Nadiad. I got to present 2 research papers in international seminars held in New Delhi!! That experiance kinda pushed me more into digging deeper into Ayurved research... still learning and always curious abt how the classics link with today’s clinical challenges, it really keeps me going. |
I am Dr. Nisarg, been into Ayurveda for quite a while now & what really got me hooked was Ksharasutra therapy — like this ancient yet super precise para-surgical thing that actually works. My main focus is proctology, yeah, that means I work with stuff like piles (arsha), fissure (parikartika), fistula-in-ano — kinda not the most glamorous area, but man it affects people’s daily life more than they talk about. I use Ksharasutra not just ‘cause it’s traditional, but cause it’s effective and doesn’t need all the hardcore cutting or complex post-op recovery. It gives people relief, and they’re up and going without too much hassle. I also deal with pain... chronic joint pains, stiffness, low back issues — it’s not just about giving some oil and calling it done. There’s this whole process — Panchakarma detox, herbal combos, lifestyle shifts. Sometimes you gotta tweak routines real deep. Like telling someone to stop sleeping in the afternoon when they’ve done it for years, that’s tough haha. But we get there. I try not to overload with pills — most of the people I see are already tired of popping painkillers that don’t last. Another part I really care about is wound care — the stubborn ones. Diabetic foot ulcers, non-healing wounds, post-op slowness, all that. I use medicated lepa, oil dressings, and yeah detox works here too. It's not just the wound, right? You clean the inside, too. You bring balance back to where it slipped. I don’t just write some medicine and wave goodbye. I spend time explaining, asking their side of the story too. I try my best to make them feel they’re part of the healing, not just someone being treated. My way? Rooted in classics, adjusted to fit today’s pace. It’s not quick-fix Ayurveda. It’s slow, steady, and maybe... more real.
