Area of specialization: | I am working mostly around skin stuff, pain-related cases and this whole tricky diabetes care space. Honestly, each one feels like its own puzzle. With skin diseases, I look into deeper imbalances—often pitta or rakta related—but yeah, depends on the person’s prakruti too. Could be anything from eczema to random acne flares that won't calm down. I really don’t believe in masking it with just creams or cleansers.
Now diabetes, it’s not just about lowering sugar—like ppl forget how digestion and sleep and stress all play in. Some patients don’t even realize their gut is half the problem till we correct digestion. That’s kinda my next area—gut disorders, bloating, acid peptic complaints, appetite swings. When you reset agni properly, things begin to fall into place.
Pain cases are a lot, too—joint pain, old injuries, migraines. I use different therapies depending on what suits. Sometimes just nadi swedana works, sometimes basti needs to be added. It’s not fixed... it’s layered. And I like that challenge tbh. Just figuring what's *actually* off underneath. I don’t rush through consults bcoz the root cause won't scream at you—have to dig in slowly, one step at a time. |
Achievements: | I am someone who kinda likes showing up where Ayurveda meets research... and people who talk in papers and posters, lol. I’ve presented a paper at the national covid conference in 2023 (it was hectic but worth it), and did poster presentations both at the National Medicinal Plant Board meet and at WCABHU back in 2019—yeah, that was a while ago. Also got into Ayurwhiz by Himalaya, which felt good actually!! Been part of quite a few conferences now, some big, some small, but all teaching something new every time. |
I am an Ayurvedic doctor still figuring out some parts of the journey, but yeah, been deeply into this since around 5 years now, and practicing properly for over a year. What pulled me in was the way Ayurveda looks at *why* something is happening instead of just stopping what’s happening. That idea of going to the root, not just the visible symptoms—that really stayed with me. I focus mostly on pain managment (joint issues, muscular, even chronic back pain stuff), diabetes care (it's more layered than just sugar levels honestly), and a lot of gut issues too—acidity, bloating, IBS-like things that people usually just ignore till they can’t. Lately I’ve been handling more urology-related cases as well, stuff like UTI, urine retention, and male sexual disorders. Oh, and cosmetic concerns too—skin issues like acne, hairfall, pigmentation; not always life-threatening but they do affect confidence n’ mental space. Headaches? Yeah, those too—sometimes it’s sinuses, sometimes just stress piled up over months, and the answer’s never *just* a medicine. I try to align treatment to each person’s *Prakruti*—like their natural constitution, not just what their reports say. For some ppl lifestyle changes work fast, for others it’s slow and you need to rework diet n sleep patterns. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all kind of approach... rarely ever works. Not everything’s perfect in this field either. There’s moments of doubt—did I choose the right herb? did that patient understand what I meant by vata aggravation? But overall, watching ppl come back after weeks and say things like “my pain’s reduced” or “my digestion feels lighter now”–that’s what keeps me here. Not chasing perfection, just consistent, root-level care.
