Dr. Raghvendra Prajapati
Experience: | 2 years |
Education: | Sri Sai Institute of Ayurvedic Research and Medicine |
Academic degree: | Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery |
Area of specialization: | I am mainly working with patients who struggle with skin disorders and piles, two areas where Ayurveda really show its strength if applied properly. For skin I deal with things like acne, eczema, psoriasis, chronic rashes, pigmentation—conditions that often don’t respond well to quick fixes. I use classical Ayurvedic therapies, detox through Panchakarma when needed, herbal formulations, diet and daily routine correction to bring balance back. It’s not only about clearing the skin but calming the underlying dosha disturbance that keep bringing the problem again n again.
With piles my approach is focused on both immediate relief from pain, bleeding, and swelling, but also on preventing recurrence. That means working on digestion, correcting constipation, teaching patients about food and lifestyle that worsen the condition. In some cases I add Kshar karma or local Ayurvedic procedures, while in others just internal medicines and diet changes give big results.
What I like about focusing on skin and piles is that both are very visible and troubling for the patient, but also very responsive when Ayurveda is done right. Every treatment is personalized, based on prakriti and stage of disease, making it safe, sustainable and effective. My goal is not just treatment but giving confidence back to patients, whether its clear healthy skin or freedom from discomfort of piles. |
Achievements: | I am currently practicing in Gwalior where most of my work revolve around treating patients with chronic disorders and watching them improve step by step. For me the real achievement is not medals or papers but seeing patients walk out with less pain, better skin, digestion getting normal, piles healing, or thyroid under control. Their satisfaction is what I count as success, every result reinforce that the authentic use of Ayurveda can bring real changes in daily life and long term health. |
I am working in this field for about 1 year now, and though it may sound short, in that time I got to see and manage a pretty wide mix of cases that taught me lessons no textbook can cover fully. My focus in practice is using authentic Ayurvedic principles and procedures but always with a practical approach that fits the patient infront of me. Day to day I handle conditions like digestive issues, skin problems, joint pain, lifestyle disorders like diabetes or thyroid imbalance, and sometimes stress related complaints that show up in both body and mind. During this year I worked in OPD setups where patient flow is high, which gave me exposure to quick yet careful diagnosis, planning simple but effective protocols with herbs, diet, panchakarma when needed. In some cases just correcting lifestyle and counseling made more difference than medicines, and that reinforced for me how much Ayurveda is about balance not just drugs. I also spent time learning from senior physicians, assisting in Panchakarma therapies like Virechana, Basti, and Abhyanga. Doing that hands-on really gave me confidence that these aren’t abstract concepts—they are powerful when matched to the right patient and dosha condition. One year may not sound like long, but for me it felt intense, every patient shaping how I approach the next. Sometimes I still doubt if I am doing enough, but seeing patients return with relief, improved sleep, less pain, or just saying they feel better in daily life—that feels like the real achievement. My aim going forward is to deepen this clinical base, refine my diagnostic skill, and keep building trust by making Ayurveda accessible, logical, and safe for people who turn to me for healing.
