It sounds like those ringworms have been causing you some real discomfort. Good to get on top of it. In Ayurveda, skin issues like this can sometimes be linked to an imbalance in the body’s doshas, specifically pita, the fiery element. Sometimes, toxins in the blood or indigestion might be factors too. First off, diet plays a huge role, so let's talk food. You want to maybe avoid anything too spicy, oily or sour—it can aggravate pita dosha and worsen the issue. Instead, go for more cooling and light foods like cucumbers, melons, pomegranates, and leafy greens. Add ghee to your meals as it's soothing and helps balance pita. Now, for blood purification, herbs can be quite helpful. Neem is a classic choice, known for its purifying properties. Drinking neem tea or taking neem capsules after meals might help. Additionally, turmeric mixed with warm water could be a great boost to your immune system and skin health. Aloe vera gel (the pure kind, if you can find it) taken internally in small amounts can also help soothe internal heat. Regarding external treatment, a paste of turmeric and coconut oil applied gently to the ringworm can be beneficial. Aloe vera gel can be soothing and healing too and should be applied before going to bed.. Watch that you don’t overdo sour fruits like tomatoes or pickles; they can aggravate pita. And stay hydrated, but eat moderate amounts; overeating or irregular eating can upset your agni or the digestive fire. So while you're looking into these natural remedies, keep an eye on the food you're consuming. If there's no improvement soon, or it's getting worse, do consider consulting with a healthcare professional. But generally, with a little patience and consistency, Ayurveda can be pretty effective! Remember, it’s good to consult with a local Ayurvedic doctor, they can give more personalized advice based on your unique body constitution (prakriti).
