Doctors' responses

Your symptoms suggest Kapha excess with Vata imbalance. Eat warm, light, freshly cooked food; avoid cold, heavy, dairy, sugar, and late dinners. Drink warm water; add a little ginger in the morning. Tongue coating (ama) = weak digestion → do tongue scraping, no late-night eating. Afternoon heaviness → lighter lunch, small walk after meals, avoid daytime sleep. Do gentle daily movement (walking, light yoga), avoid overexertion. Warm oil massage 2–3 times/week helps pain and calms Vata.
