I have heavy bloating issue at night which affects my sleep badly. Day time I am ok.I have severe constipation also for which I take ayurvedic medicines. Pl help me with remedy

Since you’re having >6 months history, night bloating + severe constipation + good appetite, this clearly indicates a chronic Vata aggravation with Apana Vata dushti and possible Aama accumulation. Night bloating that disturbs sleep is very commonly due to: Incomplete bowel evacuation Gas retention in colon (Pakvashaya sthana – Vata area) Late digestion (Mandagni at night) Eating after sunset Dry / irregular food habits Let’s correct this step-by-step. 🌿 Ayurvedic Plan for Night Bloating + Constipation 1️⃣ First: Correct Bowel Completely If stool is not fully cleared, bloating will never settle. 🔹 At Bedtime (Most Important) Triphala Churna – 1 tsp in warm water OR Avipattikar Churna – 1 tsp in warm water (If acidity also present) 👉 Continue for 4–6 weeks minimum. If constipation is very severe: Add Erand Bhrishta Haritaki – 1 tsp at night with warm water (better for strong Vata constipation). 2️⃣ For Night Gas & Bloating After Dinner: Hingwashtak Churna – ½ tsp with first bite of food Or ½ tsp in warm water after food. Excellent Combination: Jeera + Ajwain + Saunf (dry roast, powder) ½ tsp after dinner with warm water. 3️⃣ Very Important Lifestyle Corrections ✔ Eat dinner before 7:30 PM ✔ Dinner should be light: Moong dal Vegetable soup Khichdi Avoid roti + sabzi at night if bloating severe ❌ Avoid at night: Curd Rajma / chole Salad Cold water Heavy wheat food Milk at night 4️⃣ Most Powerful Remedy (Highly Recommended) 🔥 Castor Oil Therapy (Once Weekly) 1–2 tsp pure castor oil in warm milk at bedtime Once a week only This removes accumulated Vata from colon. 5️⃣ Abdominal Oil Therapy (Very Effective) Before sleeping: Warm sesame oil Massage around navel clockwise 10 mins Apply hot water bag 5 mins This relaxes Apana Vata and improves sleep. 6️⃣ If Sleep Is Severely Disturbed Add: Ashwagandha churna ½ tsp at night in warm milk OR Tagar tablet 1 at night Why Only Night Problem? During day: ✔ Agni strong ✔ Movement active ✔ Gas passes At night: ❌ Agni slow ❌ Body horizontal ❌ Vata accumulates in colon That is why symptoms worsen at night.
