Concern About My Niece's Increasing White Patch on Scalp - #51251

Client_43d38c

My niece is 13 years old and we have noticed a white patch on the left side of her scalp, under her hair(same patch hair is also white). The patch looks lighter than the rest of the hair. We consulted doctor and started all the medicine as advised but the white patch seems to be increasing instead of shrinking. Doctor has diagnosed vitiligo and the medicine prescribed is(which we stopped now) Tacrolimus 0.1% oint twice daily for 1 month Then tofacinib 5mg twice daily for 1 month Now switched to Picrolimus oint twice - not started yet! Advised Rixolitinib oint And phototherapy

How long has the white patch been present?:

- 1-3 months

Has your niece experienced any other symptoms?:

- No other symptoms

What is your niece's dietary habits like?:

- Somewhat balanced, occasional junk food

Hi, vitiligo is generally very difficult to treat and success rate is also very low. You can try giving a chance to ayurveda but results cannot be asssured
