Namaste, Chronic acidity with stomach pain, burping, and bloating usually indicates weak digestion and excess acid formation. Simple measures that may help: Eat small, frequent meals instead of heavy meals. Avoid spicy, fried, sour foods, tea, coffee, and processed foods. Do not lie down immediately after eating; keep a gap of 2–3 hours. Include light foods like rice, moong dal, boiled vegetables, and buttermilk with roasted cumin. Drink warm water and avoid very cold foods and drinks. Manage stress and sleep, as they can worsen acidity. Since this is a long-term issue and you are already on medicines, continue doctor follow-up for proper management. Ayurvedic medicines sometimes used to support acid balance include: Avipattikar Churna – traditionally used to support digestion and reduce acidity. Kamdudha Ras – sometimes used to help soothe gastric irritation. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.

—Your symptoms of acidity, stomach pain, burping, and bloating for more than 6 months may suggest chronic acid reflux such as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease or gastritis. Medicines like Omeprazole or Famotidine can help reduce acid, but diet changes are also important. Avoid spicy, oily foods, large meals, and late-night eating. –Diagnosis: Amlapitta (Acidity with bloating) —Rx: Syp. Gastrolive – 10 ml twice daily after food. Avipattikar Churna – 3 g with lukewarm water at bedtime. Jeerakadyarishta – 15 ml with equal water twice daily after meals. —Advice: Avoid spicy, oily, and fried foods. Take small frequent meals. Avoid tea/coffee on empty stomach. Do not lie down immediately after meals. —Follow up: After 7–10 days.

Namaste 🙏 Chronic acidity, burping, bloating and stomach pain for many months usually indicate imbalance of Pitta dosha and weak digestive fire (Mandagni) in Ayurveda. Improper digestion leads to gas formation, acid irritation and discomfort in the stomach. The aim of treatment is to pacify Pitta, regulate digestion and reduce gas formation. 1. Ayurvedic Medicines Shatdharan Churna Take ½ teaspoon with lukewarm water after meals, twice daily. Helps reduce gas, bloating and indigestion. Kumaryasava 15–20 ml with equal water after meals, twice daily. Supports digestion and helps regulate acidity and bloating. Sutshekhar Ras 2 tablet twice daily before meals with lukewarm water. Helps control hyperacidity, burning sensation and stomach pain. 2. Diet Guidelines Follow a Pitta-pacifying and light diet. Recommended foods Moong dal khichdi with a small amount of ghee Boiled vegetables like bottle gourd, pumpkin, ridge gourd Buttermilk with roasted cumin after lunch Amla juice in the morning Ripe papaya, pomegranate Warm homemade food taken at regular times Avoid Very spicy, sour and fried foods Excess tea, coffee and carbonated drinks Pickles, vinegar and packaged foods Eating very late at night or skipping meals 3. Lifestyle Guidelines After meals, take a gentle walk of about 100 steps after 40–45 minutes to support digestion. Drink lukewarm water sip by sip throughout the day instead of large quantities at once. Avoid sleeping during the daytime, as it can aggravate Kapha and worsen digestion. Maintain a regular sleep cycle and try to sleep before 10–11 pm. Manage stress with deep breathing, yoga or meditation, as stress can worsen acidity. 4. Additional Tips Eat slowly and chew food properly. Avoid lying down immediately after eating. Keep 4–5 hours gap between meals to allow proper digestion. If acidity continues despite these measures or if there is severe pain, vomiting, weight loss, or black stools, consult a physician for further evaluation.

Hi ! Read your complaints thoroughly and sharing my opinion with you to understand the condition. As you are facing acidity and bloating for a long while , that shows there is Pitta (Firey nature) Dosha aggrevation in the body which is creating acid fluctuations. And along with that your digestive fire is also vitiated. When Digestive fire slows down , then food can’t be digested properly and toxins start collecting the stomach as well as in the body. The Vat Dosha also gets vitiated when digestion is not proper which results in excessive burping and bloating or heaviness in the body. So here poor digestion is the root cause of your ailments. Along with this liver function is also hampered so that Acid is not getting neutralized. * LINE OF TREATMENT WILL BE - Focus on balancing excess Pitta (fire) and Vata (air) doshas through cooling herbs, improved digestion (Agni), and dietary shifts. ✅ Improvement of Digestive Fire ✅ Reduction in Acid production or neutralizing the symptoms with effective herbs. ✅Gut support with life style management and Dietary changes.

FOLLOW THE SUGGESTED THINGS FOR 20 DAYS. YOU’LL SURELY GET BETTER RESULTS AND FOLLOW THE DO’S AND DON’TS FOR FURTHER MANAGEMENT AS WELL. MEDICATIONS – 1). Tab. Kamdoodha Ras – (2-0-2) Tab. with normal water ; Empty Stomach and In the Evening. 2). Avipattikar Churan – 2 gm with normal water 10 min. before meals ( Twice a day ) 3). (THIS IS DONE TO IMPROVE YOUR DIGESTIVE FIRE AND TO REGULATE YOUR METABOLISM WHICH WILL REDUCE THE BLOATING ISSUE) 4). SYP. LIV. 52 DS - 1 Tsp - After meals ; Thrice a day. ††******† DO’S AND DON’TS 🚫Avoid Oily, Spicy and Junk Food. 🚫Avoid Taking excessive salt and sour fruit. 🚫Avoid raw veg. Or salad as well because it will slower down the digestion. 🚫 Limit coffee, tea, alcohol, smoking, fermented foods. ✅Start taking Fennel Seed Powder (1 tsp.
