Namaste, Stage 5 CKD with creatinine 12.5 and urea 147 is a very advanced and serious condition, so it is important to understand the reality clearly. Simple understanding: At this stage, kidney function is severely reduced, and complete reversal back to normal is usually not possible. The main goal is to slow progression, manage symptoms, and support remaining kidney function. In many cases, dialysis or transplant becomes necessary for survival. About Ayurveda: Ayurveda can support kidney function, improve quality of life, and reduce symptoms, but it should be used along with nephrologist guidance, not as a replacement for life-saving treatment. Avoid anyone claiming complete reversal without dialysis at this stage—it can be risky. Simple measures that may help: Follow strict kidney-friendly diet as advised (low salt, controlled protein, fluid as per doctor). Avoid self-medication and painkillers. Regularly monitor creatinine, urea, electrolytes. Stay in close follow-up with a nephrologist. Ayurvedic medicines that may support kidney function include: Punarnavadi Kashayam – 15 ml with equal water, twice daily after meals Gokshuradi Guggulu – 1 tablet, twice daily after meals These may help in supportive care, but should be taken only under supervision. Priority should always be life-saving treatment first, supportive care second. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.

-I hear your concern — CKD stage 5 with creatinine 12.5, urea 147, and high uric acid is a very advanced stage of kidney disease. At this stage, the kidneys have lost almost all of their filtering capacity. -Ayurveda can support symptom relief and slow progression, but complete reversal of CKD stage 5 without dialysis or transplant is not possible according to current medical knowledge. -With creatinine >12 and urea >140, the body is already accumulating -toxins. Dialysis or transplant is the only proven way to remove them. -Ayurvedic medicines can be used as supportive care to improve quality of life, reduce symptoms (swelling, fatigue, burning), and support digestion and immunity. Ayurvedic Supportive Medicines (General Guidance) (Must be taken under physician supervision, especially at stage 5) Punarnava Churna / Punarnavadi Kashayam – 5 g churna or 15 ml kashayam twice daily with warm water Gokshuradi Guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily with lukewarm water Chandraprabha Vati – 1 tablet twice daily with warm water Varunadi Kashayam – 15 ml twice daily with warm water Amalaki Churna – 3 g twice daily with honey or water Diet & Lifestyle— Low protein diet: avoid red meat, excess pulses; prefer rice, wheat, vegetables. Avoid salt, pickles, fried foods — they worsen swelling and BP. Hydration: sip small amounts of water; avoid excess fluid if swelling is present. Fruits: apple, papaya, pomegranate (avoid high potassium fruits like banana, orange if potassium is high).

With creatinine 12.5 it’s better to initiate dialysis and follow nephrologist advise

At the stage the damage to nephrons is typically permanent and complete reversal is not clinically possible At this level conventional medicine considered dialysis or kidney transplant is very essential for survival ayurvedic medicines can support to improve the quality of life and manage some symptoms Attempt to treat stage 5 CKD with creatinine of 12.5 through Ayurveda alone while by passing dialysis is highly risky and non advisable please visit to your nearest doctor

Need to get treated by nephrologist, ayurvedic medicine will be supportive later

Not at all. Any medicines be it ayurvedic or aloopathy are excreated from the body via the kidney and as you already have severe CKD you should be on less internal medicines. More the medicines more the kidney will be loaded and you will damage your kidney more.
