Can Ayurveda Completely Cure My IBS and Back Pain? - #52185

Hi Doctor,I'm taking Ayurvedic treatment for IBS from last 53 days. Sleep issue reduced, gas formation in abdomen also reduced by 50%. But still having upper back pain when having food. Below are the medicine I'm on now. 1. Stop-ibs 1-0-1 after food 2. Gasex 1-0-1 before food 3. Bilagyl 1 teaspoon evening 4. Dadimadi gritha 1 teaspoon morning empty stomach My question.. is my problem completely curable with ayurvedic medicines..? if yes, till how many days I may need to take ayurvedic treatment?

yes afcoure curebal in ayurveda 1. mantain life stly and diet avoid spicy food and milk and milk produts good sleep and do yoga and asan take 4 lit water daily take kutajarishta 10ml 2 times with water tab alsactil 2-0-2 after food vilwadi lehyam 1 tsp 2 times day take dadimadi ghurth 5 ml at empty stomch at morning do nasya with cow ghee 2 drop each nostril 2 times day

Hello I can understand your concern regarding IBS and its good that you have actually got 50 percent relief in your symptoms ▪️As the pain in upper back pain after meals is not reduced it means thet the root cause is not fully corrected ➖The upper back pain is mostly due to The vata (pressure of gas) moves upward And also as referred pain from stomach ▪️Your main doubt Is IBS curable with ayurveda? -Yes we can treat IBS very well But result vary person to person Depending on -chronicity -Consistency in diet -how well you manage stress And also consistency in treatment As you have already improved by 50 percent You are already on right track You are doing well Have trust in Ayurveda ▪️Second how long you need to follow the treatment? ➖In most of my IBS patient i divide the treatment in 3 phases ➖First is to get symptomatically relief ➖After 2 months correcting your agni that is digestive fire I start 3 ohase which is most important that is root cause healing This helps in preventing recurrence So a complete treatment may need 4-6 months and post that following proper diet and lifestyle ▪️Modification in your current treatment ➖For upper back pain Add Hinguvachadi gulika 2 tablets before food Through out the day have warm water only ➖For gut healing Continue Dadimadi ghrita Also take Buttermilk with roasted jeera after lunch ▪️External care Apply warm sesame oil on your upper back and do hot water fomentation ▪️Diet plan - most important Follow -have fresh and warm home made foods -Have moong dal soups -cooked vegetables -weekly once only liquid diet -have more of healthy spices like jeera, ajwain Avoid -Reheated food -cold food items -tea or coffee -curd ▪️Follow correct lifestyle -have regular meal timing -avoid lying down immediately after food And yes your IBS can be treated with Ayurveda So believe in yourself and the system Wishing you a good health😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Continue your current medicines as they are along with this you can take hinguvachadi gulika one tablet twice daily and replace dadimastaka gritha with diaakar churna half teaspoon twice daily after food with warm water eat slowly in a calm state avoid talking or stress while eating keep food warm soft and in small quantity at a time you can sip a little warm water or jeera water during meals and after food sit in vajrasana for few minutes this will help digestion and reduce that pain sensation as your digestion improves further this symptom will also gradually settle just continue regularly and avoid any trigger foods

Hello, Good to know. Please keep in touch with your treating doctor as it requires close monitoring, change of medications based on the symptoms as well as vikruti(which your doctor will be able to access using tongue examination, nadi etc.). You may need follow up panchakarma treatments also. So my suggestion would be speak to your treating doctor so that you can understand in protocol and plan for your recovery. Today I went to doctor for followup. they prescribed gasex 1-0-1 Stop-ibs 0-0-1 reduced to 1 tablet per day Anulom-DS 0-0-1 Dadimadi gritha morning 1 teaspoon Bilagyl evening 1 teaspoon
