Frequent ringworm that comes back after stopping medicine means the infection is not fully cleared and skin environment is still favorable for fungus (sweat, moisture, low resistance). Focus should be on complete treatment + hygiene + internal correction. Keep the affected area completely dry. Wash and dry properly, especially after sweating. Wear loose cotton clothes and change underwear daily. Do not share towels or clothes. Do not stop treatment immediately when itching reduces. Continue for at least 2–3 weeks after skin looks normal, otherwise it returns. For local application, apply coconut oil with a pinch of turmeric or neem oil twice daily on affected area. In diet, avoid sugar, sweets, bakery items, curd at night, spicy and fried food. These increase fungal growth. Take simple home food with vegetables like lauki, tori, and drink warm water. Improve immunity and skin healing with proper nutrition and sleep. Medicines: Gandhak rasayan 1 tablet twice daily. Arogyavardhini vati 1 tablet twice daily after food. Kaishore guggulu 2 tablets twice daily. This helps clear infection from root and reduce recurrence. If infection is spreading fast or not reducing, antifungal treatment from doctor may be needed along with this. For complete long-term control and prevention plan, you can consult me.
