dear Sir i am an Army Veteran who served Siachin Glaciers 1979, In 1999 ideveloped Foraminal Stenosis ( L4L5 S1)2012 Necrotizing Fasciitis With Varicose Veins underwent 4 Major surgeries, 2019 2 Heart implants, Suffering from Sciatica, Neuropathy Taking 2 Insulinx15 u. Ransaptak (Rasnadi/Rasnasaptak type medicine) is usually used for sciatica, joint pain, nerve pain. But in your case (age 68 + heart implants + diabetes + insulin + past surgeries) Do NOT take it on your own. Why caution Some ingredients may affect heart condition May interact with insulin/diabetes control Your body is already medically complex Take Yograj Guggulu 1tab 2times after food (for joints & sciatica) Dashmool Kwath 20ml equal quantity of water reduces nerve inflammation Mahanarayan oil massage on lower back & legs Avoid oily spicy food meat U ll get results

Rasna saptakam kwatha contains rasna, guduchi, aragwadha, devadaru, gokshura, eranda, punarnava. Mainly useful in joint pains. Studies said that useful in diabetic neuropathy, inflammatory degeneration, lumbar spondylosis, etc. So it indicate medicine can affects the blood sugar levels, impact nerves and circulation. So under supervision you can take rasna saptakam kwatha. Regular monitoring of sugar and bp. If you sense anything wrong stop the medicine. You can opt other options like abyanga with dhanwantaram tailam/ sahacharadi tailam. Apply gently over the lower back and whole limbs and for 10 minutes and leave it for 30-45 minutes . Warm water bath after that. I recommend you to start with this abyanga and gentle walking. If you didn’t get result then go for internal medicine. Take care, Dr. Shaniba

Rasnasaptak is used to treat joint pain, sciatica and other vatt related diseases. It is a very potent formulation. It has drugs that reduce inflamation which can interact with your ongoing medicines like blood thinners. Also some ingridents of the kwath produce a small amount of hypoglycemia which in your case can be large as you are on insuline. To start rasnasaptak you need proper observation from an ayurvedic physician near you who can keep a watch on your nadi, agni, kosth, samhanan. You can go for milder options like Dashmoolarishta. You can start with Castor oil 3 tsp at bed time which is the best solution for any kind of vatta diseases and add Dashmoolarishta weeks after taking castor oil. Follow the below mentioned lifestyle and diatery modulations. ??Do’s:?? Eat freshly cooked food. Chew an inch of fresh ginger half an before meal. Eat only fruit vegetables.
