Since you are in your second trimester and have a history of asthma, it’s best not to start Sitopladi Churna on your own. You can try safe measures like steam inhalation, saline nasal spray, staying well hydrated, and warm honey/ginger drinks. Avoid dust and allergens. –Rx 1) Sitopladi Churna – ½ tsp with warm water/honey, 2x/day, 5days 2) Anu Tailam (nasal drops) – 2 drops per nostril, once daily, 5 days 3) Steam inhalation – 10 min, 1–2x/day —Diet/Lifestyle: Avoid dust/allergens, drink warm fluids, rest —Follow-up: If shortness of breath worsens or fever develops, consult immediately.

Hello I can understand your concern regarding cough and congestion And also having asthma tendency in 2nd trimester This can be very uncomfortable But dont worry we are here to help you out 😊 ▪️Considering your preganancy Your treatment should be -Gentle -It should be safe for fetus -it should be kapha balancing And most important it should not be strong on you ▪️Is sitopaladi safe for you? Yes it is safe You can take it 1/2 tsp with honey (if you do not have gestational Diabetics) after food 2 times a day It will help you to reduce cough and mucus accumulation ▪️Natural ways to reduce cough -Have warm water throughout the day -Drink golden milk ( haldi+milk + water ) Diluted milk should be used Not full fat or full cream milk -Daily do steam inhalation twice ▪️Avoid -Do not take any medicine without docter approval -do not consume excessive honey -Avoid curd at night -avoid exposure to triggers like dust, pollen ▪️Diet plan Take more of warm foods Soups like moong dal soup or vegetable soup Have more of ginger in your food ▪️Externally Apply warm sesame oil on your chest and do massage followed by fomentation with hot water bag As you have history of asthma If you feel breathlessness Please consult nearby physician Wishing you a healthy pregnancy and delievery😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Hello, You’ve got a classic allergy asthmatic pattern in pregnancy- dust triggered cough + congestion + mild breathlessness . In Ayurveda, this aligns with vata-kapha aggravation in pranavaha srotas. during pregnancy (especially 2nd trimester) , treatment must be very gentle , safe and non stimulating First- About sitopaladi churna -Sitopaladi churna is generally mild and often used in preganancy but -It contains sugar + spices-> can be safe in small doses -But should NOT be self started without supervision, especially with shortness of breath present Your case has asthma history + breathlessness -> needs cautious handling Conclusion -can be used in low dose if prescribed -don’t restart on your own Internal medications 1)Sitopaladi churna= 2gm with honey twice daily after meals =helps cough, throat irritation, mild wheezing For congestion + immunity -Talisadi churna= 2gm with warm water twice =better if more phlegm/congestion =use instead of sitopaldi not both together For allergic tendency (important in your case) -Haridra khanda= 1 tsp with warm milk at night =helps allergy , dust sensitivty, recurrence cough External/ supportive therapies very important -Steam inhalation= plain steam or with -tulsi leaves or ajwain twice daily =reduces congestion ,breathlessnesss safely Chest application -Dhanwantharam taila= light warm application on chest/back =improves breathing comfort Diet -warm water sip all day -light foods khichdi, soups -turmric milk -cooked garlic + ginger small amount Avoid -cold foods, fridge water -curd at night -banana especially evening -fried/ bakery items -exposure to dust very important trigger for you Lifestyle -avoid direct fan/ Ac airflow -use mask in dusty areas -sleep slightly propped up if breathlessness -gentle pranayam= Anulom Vilom very mild, no force About your current supplements -vitamin B,D,folic acid-> continue -No major conflict with above meds Your condition is manageable, but because of pregnancy, asthma history, breathlessness Keep it gentle, consistent, and supervised Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
